On one Sunday, I forgot to "sow our seed" to Joyce. This is when, we would walk up to the podium and lay our money down while she was preaching. If it was a large amount, $100 or more, she'd wave it in the air and yell out "Money Cometh to Me Now!" I got a call on Monday morning out of concern that we not miss our blessings since we were so connected to her and I was expected to show by example to give her money each meeting. I was reading a book from Word of Faith grandfather Kenneth Hagin Sr called "The Midas Touch". This was one of his last books before his passing in 2003. It was about bringing balance to the prosperity gospel. It seemed many of his followers at the time (spiritual sons?) were doing some wacky things in regard to money. He called a meeting and if you click the link you will see all the famous money preachers showed up, funny thing, Leroy Thompson was one of his spiritual sons and refused to heed the warning from his mentor. Joyce told me she was aware of this meeting and that Doc Thompson was told by God not to come. She told me to destroy that book and never read it, adding it was a book with a message from hell! She later called me and told me, that Kenneth Hagin Jr actually wrote the book out of a spirit of vindictiveness. She finally told me (ordered me) not to read that book anymore....period... talk about control issues!If the grandfather of the word of faith movement tried to bring some sanity to the money gospel, it didnt' last long. I couldn't believe Joyce would tell me to throw the book away, plus it was a message from hell! She went as far as saying Kenneth Hagin Jr actually wrote it because he was jealous over Leroy's money making gig.....Imagine that! She used to quote Kenneth Hagin Sr many times, but I guess his book about the abuses of making money off the gospel was too much to bear for her. So the money game continues at Light of the World Church in Ft Pierce. Glad I'm outta there!
I got into the word of faith message back in the 70's around the same time as Joyce. I did the name it an claim for a short time. It does not work the way Joyce is preaching. It works only when we as Bro Hagin did seeks the face of the LORD and ask Him to provide our need. Bro. Hagin just went to the LORD and told the Lord how much he needed to be able to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He needed enough to pay his way to and from the meeting. He needed enough to support his family. He did not ask to become wealth according to the world's standards. If you do not believe these post I suggest you get the book and read it. It truly explains the error of the so called " Word of Faith" preachers. It has been repackaged into the Money cometh to me now" doctrine which is totally against the Gospel of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jf Cecil
ReplyDeleteI again say I am not sure how long I will continue to Post. I only want to post what the LORD puts on my heart to say. I remember years ago before Joyce married John Leiphon she came to Ky and stayed at our Mothers house. She told our Mother she had come to KY to deliver me from Rebellion. Yet she told me she had come to Ky to deliver our Mother from Greed. Now to my knowledge Jesus Christ deliverd me from rebellion when I accept Him as my Savior. He died for me. Joyce has not given her life for anyone,. Now as far as Our Mother goes I truly believe the LORD delivered her from this greed Joyce talked about back in the 70's when she accepted Jesus Christ as her LORD and Savior. Because she was no longer interested in the money our dad got saved. Now it appears to me that Joyce misunderstood what the LORD was saying to her. He wanted to deliver her from greed and rebellion. Not our mother or me. I believe when the LORD speaks to your heart about another person you must first see that you are as guilty of the offense as the person the LORD ask you to pray for or even speak to. So Joyce you do need to repent of your rebellion and your Greed. If you were not full of Greed and rebellion you would not be preaching the gospel of greed you are preaching today. Jfcecil

How long have you been giving as you are taught and how much return on the Money you have given have you received? Also what is being taught about how long it will take? If you are not getting your return what is the problem?
ReplyDeleteYou can bet your butt that these devotees who have turned over all their money to this sociopathic pastor will never see a dime in return. It's not going to happen, period. At least a few folks have had sense enough to figure that out and gotten away from there.

ReplyDeleteI just want to say that the God I serve is a respecter of no one. Meaning to me there is no one any better then I am and I am not better the anyone else. We all need a Savior. I know there to be a lot of emotionalism in many full Gospel churches today. The truth is the HOLY Spirit does and will come up on a person when they yield to Him however never and I say again never does it take over and leave you unable to function. IF and when this happens to a person run and pray for their deliverance. I am sure it is not the Holy Spirit of the Most High God operating in or through this person.. I have seen Joyce Leiphon over come so she says by the power of God that she can't stand on her own but need support. I have seen pastors in other churches she has attended ask her to sit down because they knew she was not operating under the power of the Holy Spirit. I have witness this my self. So again I am asking all those who follow this cult leader to be very careful. does everything she teaches line up with the word of God. I do not believe it is so. God does not want your money he wants you. God does not need your help to get money from the wicked. You who are following Joyce Leiphon and others preaching this lie are helping the devil deceive many and are being deceived. I am praying for you all. Jfcecil

Now if you can't do that or don't want to because he sinned. Well so have we all. Also you can go to Malcolmsmith.org or zoechs.org or even to youtube. Going to youtube you can type in Malcolm Smith Ministries and You will hear truth about any subject you need to be clear on. Joyce Leiphon has gotten all of her teaching of who you are in Christ from this Man. I pray she will allow you to listen to his teachings. ReplyDeletewell from my understanding this pastor is telling her followers that if they disobey her they will lose their blessings from the LORD. Will she take them out in the woods and beat the crap out of them. No but having control of what they see and think will cause them if the disobey her to loose everything she is telling they will have. She has put fear into them not to disobey her while they are disobeying the Word of God. You see though she is teaching who you are in Christ she is denying the fact that Jesus finished all the requirements that was needed in order for man to have all their sins forgiven. The words of Jesus " It is finished" is just that It is finished and there is nothing any human can do to gain material wealth outside the Cross of Jesus with out it becoming and Idol. Joyce has place worldly wealth above Spiritual well being. I have it all In Christ Jesus and him crucified. You see there is nothing we can do to add to what He has done for us all. If you want to be a millionaire I suggest you get a job that will pay you enough to make you a millionaire. God our Father and God who raised Jesus Christ from the dead has never told anyone in the Bible they will be Millionaires by His hand. He says in Christ Jesus we have it all. As we yield our lives to The Holy Spirit He will show us the way. Now when you are seeking riches of this world you are actually seeking God and Jesus for what you can get from him. You are in danger of loosing everything you hold dear including you soul. I am asking Joyce Leiphon to repent from her sin and turn from this false teaching she is preaching. For her to ask all those who are following her to forgive her for leading them astray from the LORD GOD OF ALL. If you truly want the things of God and what Jesus Christ did for us all on Calvary's Cross all you truly have to do is ask God to show you the truth. Throw away everything that truly does not line up with the Word of God. Jesus spoke about money a lot in the Gospel and it was not good what he said. Yes there is prosperity in Christ Jesus. But seeking the wealth is not what is meant but seeking the wealth giver. The giver of all life.

ReplyDeleteWhat is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG with the people who continue to devote themselves to this pastor? All they have to do is stop going to her church. I don't believe anyone can be "forced" to attend. True, they won't get their money or receive their "blessings" because they have "disobeyed" or spoken out against "God's annointed," (but the fact is that they were not going to ever be getting anything anyway.) So why not sever ties with a controlling and manipulative individual? Are they truly that afraid of her or irreversibly brainwashed? The worst she can do is bad mouth them and keep everything they have ever turned over to her. So walk away and worship our Lord in truth and spirit.
ReplyDeleteAmen anonymous. Just had a great time with the family in Ky. One of Joyce's followers wasn't there but we still had a great time in the LORD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ was preached and it was all good. Got to talk to one brother who does talk to Joyce. He doesn't believe what she is teaching. He is a pastor of a small Church in Louisville. He does not even take a salary. He pays for all the expenses of the Church if there isn't enough money to take care of the rent and other things pertaining to the church. Out of his own pocket.( His tithes and offerings). He has nothing at all to do with the money that comes into the church. He has someone else at another church take care of the Money. That way there can be no misuse of the money the People of God give as their tithes and offerings. This keep the Preacher honest. From what I understood today he has told our sister she is wrong. and again she will not listen.

ReplyDeleteWell I believe what the bible says about tithing and offerings and I Thank God he knows what he should be doing with the money that comes into his church. He also has a regular job. The tithes according to the bible and this dear brother is to go to get the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ to all nations not just the preacher. I am sure when the church grows he will not have to pay the expenses out of his pocket. But he will never be taking all the money for his own use. That is what he believes and so do I. We all could used some of his knowledge on business affairs

If you want the truth you can find it in the bible. However some have written it on this website. If you are truly one of His (Jesus Christ) you will be seeking the truth in the Whole word of God and any site you can find the is teaching the truth. The truth is Jesus Christ and him Crucified. no other but Jesus. Not Joyce Leipon or Leroy Thompson. Who do you owe your life to Joyce, Leroy or Jesus Christ. If you are following the teachings of Jesus Christ read Matt.20: 20-28. Who did Jesus say who to follow
