While I was there, we would plan a mother's day celebration, not for the mom's in the church, but for Joyce Leiphon the pastor of LOTWC. This is how it works:
All of the core group would receive an email from one of Joyce's assistants extolling the virtues of the pastor and how much of a blessing to us she is and how she means so much to us etc. We would have a list of items of appreciation to contribute to. All these items were approved by Joyce herself or a close family member. Actually there was a "gift fund" we would put additional monies in each week/month for these special occasion's. This in addition to the other offerings to Joyce Leiphon. I remember we had a private meeting and some of the families who were struggling in their finances wanted to make something simple, you know, something from the heart, a simple card or handmade gift. A big NO was the answer they got! Our pastor deserves the very best and we will not do anything less than that!
So on Mother's Day, Joyce Leiphon would receive lavish gifts, one year it was a big screen tv, an I-pad, cash money etc. The leadership, (I was one) would give a small speech and sing a song to her for all she did for us. Imagine that, a song of praise to a person, (I've since repented and sing only songs of praise to the only one of whom all praise is deserved!) Then, those who wanted to say something and give her a gift would be able to speak. One of the only times anyone was able to speak (with gift in hand). We would even call Joyce Leiphon our "spiritual mother". The spiritual mother thing always bothered me and even then I was uncomfortable calling Joyce Leiphon, "Mom".
I'm not against showing appreciation to anyone, however in the case of hijacking Mother's Day and using it to take more money in the name of Jesus is just plain WRONG! Calling Joyce Leiphon "my spiritual mother" was off base and elevating her to a higher level than deserved was totally WRONG!
I'm glad and thanks be to God that my eyes were opened and set free from this false gospel that is really a cult. Celebrate your Mom this weekend. Joyce Leiphon, you are not special and do not deserve the worship you demand from your followers. Hijacking Mother's Day is another example of why I left this cult.
I have commented on this before but I must say. The catholic church has Mary as the mother of god and now the Lotwc church has Joyce Leiphon as their " spiritual Mother". What a scam! There is nothing in the Bible about God having a mother nor it is there anything in the Word of God saying any of us are capable of be a " spiritual mother". Yes there is something about older women are to teach the younger women how to behave. How can Joyce teach anyone anything when she herself is unteachable?

ReplyDeleteBill Shaw, when you said that LOTWC is a cult, you hit the nail on the head. Didn't Jim Jones park himself in front of his followers and demand to be called "dad"? And this crazy woman Joyce Leiphon is now demanding to be elevated, praised, honored and have her followers call her "mom"? Now that's scary. I wonder how long it will take for LOTWC to become another Peoples' Temple like at Jonestown Guyana.

ReplyDeleteThis week the Lord has impressed on my mind to read and study the Gospel of John. I got to the 17th Chapter of John. this is where I stopped for the day. I finally listen to Joyce teaching on May 30th and low and behold she was preaching on the 17th Chapter of John,While seeking the Lord for what He wanted me to understand concerning this very chapter I realize again how important it is to Ask the Lord the meaning of HIS Word. Yes Jesus prayed for the 11 Apostles that the Father would keep them from the evil one. HE has much to say in this Chapter. The thing that was impressed on my mind was the fact of the Truth that Jesus Gave to HIS Apostles and prayed that all who heard the truth from their mouth would come to know the truth, come to believe in Him.Verse 20 states, " I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word." Matthew, Mark Luke and John plus Peter , Paul, James and Jude warn us of preachers such as Joyce Leiphon and others. Jesus Christ was our sin offering. While Joyce teaches that Jesus went to hell in our place this contradicts the Truth that is in the Word of God. Jesus took our place on the Cross not in hell as so many preach today. Had Jesus went to hell as Joyce teaches none of the human race would or could be saved. From 12, to 3 on the day that Jesus died He suffered for all our sin. Therefore he did not have to enter into the burning side of hell in order to redeem us from satan. It was and is finished on the Cross. Wasn't Jesus on the Cross when He cried out It is finished. He didn't have to wait until he was raised from the dead to say it is finished. Now Joyce commented that her people should not listen to anyone who does not preach as she preaches, even if they profess to know Jesus Christ as they do not know the true Gospel. How sad. Those who truly love the Lord would never say this to anyone but they would tell them to check out what the truth of the Scripture is and if what the are saying is false then rebuke them in the Love that Jesus has shown to all men. The truth sets me free the Lie that Joyce is teaching places men and woman under bondage to sin. She and other who teach as she does has no true understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. they are only using the name of Jesus to gain money and wealth but not according to the truth in the Word of God. God Our Father chastises those that are His. He will send others to show you the error of your way but if you are taught not to listen to anyone but the preacher you are sitting under you are refusing to listen to the Lord God. I know these people who are following Joyce has many doubts about what she is preaching. Many have been giving to her for years with little or no return on their giving while Joyce is living the " so called god life" on their money. Who is paying for her trip to Brazil the one to Barbados? How many are placing their trust in what Joyce is saying instead of Going to the Father in Jesus name and asking Him for His truth?

And I believe the Bible also says that Many Will Come In My Name and Say They Are Christ, But Do Not be Deceived? Joyce, can you not read? And to all of Joyce's cult members, HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO BE DECEIVED BY THIS EVIL PASTOR; AND WHAT MAKES YOU BELIEVE THE FALSE GOSPEL SHE IS TEACHNG YOU, KNOWING THAT ALL OF YOU AND JOYCE LEIPHON WILL BE CAST INTO HELL AS A RESULT. Always measure your life solely by the standards of Jesus. Submit yourself to His yoke, and His alone; and always be careful never to place a yoke on others that is not of Jesus Christ. It takes God a long time to get us to stop thinking that unless everyone sees things exactly as we do, they must be wrong. That is never God’s view. There is only one true liberty— the liberty of Jesus at work in our conscience enabling us to do what is right.
Don’t get impatient with others. Remember how God dealt with you— with patience and with gentleness. But never water down the truth of God. Let it have its way and never apologize for it. Jesus said, “Go . . . and make disciples. . .” (Matthew 28:19), not, “Make converts to your own thoughts and opinions.”
What may I ask is the Inheritance that the Death of Jesus Christ has given those who trust in Him. It is " eternal life". He has provided all our need yet we all want more then our need. If you want what Joyce is teaching I am afraid you will not Inherit what Christ has given as an inheritance. ETERNAL LIFE unless you repent

She is the classic sociopath if there ever was one, self centered, self important, egotistical, a pathological liar, and has no empathy or compassion for anyone else. She is only for herself and her desires; and it doesn't matter to her who she hurts in the process. She will tell others that this and that and one thing and another is "from the devil." Well, folks, the only devil in this entire scenario is Joyce Leiphon. But, again, that's the sociopath in her. It's too bad that all of her cult followers are too deceived ( and apparently too stupid as well) to be able to realize what Joyce Leiphon is - a first class loser who could care less about them and only someone who is out to drain them financially.

ReplyDeleteOne week I heard Joyce tell her peeps not to talk to or listen to anyone who does not accept what she teaches. I tried to listen to her preaching of this past Sunday. But I can only stomach just so much. Now she is telling her peeps they that must take the " Living water" out into their community. My question for her is how can you do both. You are not allowed to have any contact with anyone who does not accept what she preaches. So how can you take living water to anyone else. Before you can take Jesus Christ and him crucified to the community you truly have to know Jesus. Do these people including Joyce truly believe the Jesus died on the cross so they could be rich? Do they truly believe obedience to what Joyce teaches will bring them Great wealth according to the World's standard as Joyce teaches? Will these people shun the ones, God the Fathers sends to show them the truth of His Word? I totally believe the Lord God has sent many to show Joyce the error of her ways but she refuses to listen to the Men and women God He has sent to her. Just like our Dad, after He retired he spent a lot of time in the winter with Joyce. At the time she was a cop. She was not then or before she got this church ever in the ministry. Our Dad I am positive has told her repeatedly what she was placing her trust in was not the true Gospel. The Word of Faith doctrine that she has followed for years is something our Dad renounced along with the other false religion he had been in. Joyce this is for you if you want to ever see our dad again I suggest you repent turn from you evil wicked ways and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you the true Gospel instead of the false the you have placed your trust in. Yes Jesus is the living water, and you my dear sister are refusing to drink from the well that he has given to all who believe that He did pay the price for our sins on the Cross not in hell. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide all those who place their Faith in Christ in all TRUTH. You have placed you faith in a false gospel because your heart is has not been " renewed" by the washing of the water and the Word. I know you tell our family not to talk to me or listen to anything I have to say because I am crazy. " money can never purchase a blessing from the LORD. That is what you are selling to those who follow you. I would much rather be crazy for the true Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ then to be crazy after "Money" " Where your heart is that is where you treasure is. When you are after the " money' you heart is not after God.
ReplyDeleteI wonder that if Joyce and her followers take it "to the community", will they tell people when they knock on their doors or beg for money in front of local stores that they must first give her X number of dollars if they want to attend LOTWC? It should be rather interesting since many people in St Lucie County are very much aware of what a total kook Joyce Leiphon is and that LOTWC is a cult.

They fear mostly losing the money that they receive from the ones being deceived by the schemes they teach. Yes unless Joyce and other repent they will reap what they have sown and it will not be what they profess to be receiving. Seems I remember being told as a Catholic not to listen to any preacher or to go any other church but the Catholic church and listen only to the priest or I would be going to hell. Joyce was taught that an now she is using the same fear tactic that was used by the Catholic church were we both grew up.
ReplyDeleteJoyce truly does not understand the reason Jesus Christ was born as a man without a sin nature. Jesus came to this earth to die for the sin of all men. Jesus suffered the wrath of God on the Cross not in hell as Joyce preaches. Jesus death on the Cross brought His burial, His burial brought His resurrection. With out His death on the Cross there would have been no resurrection. Joyce places the resurrection above His death. Now as I read the Book of Rev. 3 I have come to realize that Jesus is standing at the door of LOTWC knocking wanting to be asked to come in. However, since the followers of Joyce and others that are preaching " Money" they are not allowed to open their hearts to Jesus Christ! Not just LOWTC but most of the modern church today. Most are seeking money power and material possessions not the Grace of God to get us through the trials and tribulations we all go through in order to bring us closer to the One God and Savior Jesus. We all have the capacity to do great evil. No one except Jesus Christ since the sin of Adam has been born without the " sin nature" yes the sin nature is to remain dormant. However, we all including Joyce Leiphon sin in some manner. There is not a sinless perfection in this earth. We are living in the Church age not the Kingdom age as Joyce preaches. Joyce is preaching self efforts not the free gift of Salvation, Sanctification, and Justification which we only receive by the Faith OF our Lord Jesus Christ. Trusting only on the Cross of Christ. Not what Joyce or any other man or woman preaches. WE have not as yet receive our Glorified body. Jesus Christ has not returned for HIS Church. No amount of Money will ever bring Jesus Christ to the earth for the Church.

There are so many wonderful people out there who care about others and help them in any way they possibly can. And then you get someone like Joyce Leiphon who is only concerned about fulfilling her own self centered desires and screwing everyone out of everything she can. There is no question that she is about as sociopathic as anyone can get, but one has to still wonder what has gone physically wrong in her brain to make her act and treat others the way she has for years and continues to do so.

When you become so holy in your own eyes that you become unteachable as Joyce has become and all you want is Money power and wealth and total control over everyone's life around them tells me yes this person is ill. Joyce is spiritually devoid on any truth from the word of God. I know that that is nothing I can say or do on this blog that will change Joyce and what she teaches. If by reading this blog just one persons heart is pricked to know what Joyce is preaching is lie from the pit of hell and they either chose to leave this cult or chose not to attend this cult, the work the Lord has placed on my heart has been fruitful. I thank my God and Savior the Lord Jesus Christ for His many blessing He has bestowed on HIS Children.
