I've not watched or listened to Joyce Leiphon in several years. I noticed she has a new website with archive videos and audio teachings. I thought I'd drop in to see what was going on lately with the "Money Cometh to Me Now!" cult at Light of the World Church. This is what I found from the most recent meetings.
Wed Dec 11: The highlight of this meeting was the $1000.00 check my friend and his wife "sowed" into Joyce. No new change here, Joyce makes it a point to tell everyone the amount and how faithful this couple has been to her over the years. If you see the video, you will notice how Joyce first says how they were recently blessed because with money, new car etc. She then makes a verbal mistake in saying that they weren't doing well financially because as she said, "he got his nose out of joint, not doing what I told him". She then goes on to backtrack and correct herself, " I mean he didn't do what God spoke to me to tell him" Joyce makes this couple a role model for the others as they give her mo money.
Sun Dec 22: When someone tells you over and over again as they're speaking, "I'm not trying to control you", then chances are, they are trying to control you. I heard a lot of the right words, like the shed blood of Jesus, mention of the redemption of the Cross, the power of Holy Spirit. There will always be a sliver of truth in deception. It all sounds good, but when you see the video of people bringing money to the pulpit while the word is being "taught" and then see a public rebuke to her sister for not turning the dollar bill offering face up, it still smacks of control, control, control. I will notice that this Sunday was "missions Sunday". So it does seem there is some mission money going somewhere. To me, since there was no oversight when I was there, no accountability, that money could have been used to fund the Christmas party they had after Sunday service. Remember when you bring cash to the pulpit to put the dollars face up, never face down. Sounds like the theme is still about the money.
Wed Dec 18: Again, all the Christian buzz words are there, but when it comes down to it, it always comes back to the money and what God can do for you. Another underlying theme is the importance of everyone coming to all the meetings and the implication that if you didn't you would be missing out on the blessings of God. Mentioning again toward the end of the service that this isn't about control doesn't help change the image of the Money Cometh church.
All in all, is there a change at Light of the World Church? Has Joyce Leiphon changed?
In my opinion, yes. But it's a wolf in sheep's clothing kind of change. Use just enough Christian
language to keep them coming. Then slowly appeal to peoples greed and the need to belong to something, throw in I'm the anointed one God has appointed me over you. Next thing you know, you are giving your money to her at each meeting, paying your tithes, giving to her next trip etc, it's still a self-centered gospel, based on control and greed. Oh, thank you God the peoples eyes are being open today.

I saw a sign on a church marquis, which said "if you have no charity in your soul, then you have very serious heart trouble" - or something to that effect. That sign was put up for Joyce Leiphon.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the reason many refuse to leave such an abusive teacher? Don't they realize that they have the freedom to think for themselves and ask the LORD Jesus Christ to make his will known to them without any input from this dangerous teacher? I see in the Word of God that the Holy Spirit is the one who leads and guide and teaches those that are His, not man. Isn't Jesus Christ the Way the Truth and the Life? Why since Jesus is the Head of His Church would He appoint a human being to be your head. Why would anyone other then Jesus Christ be your " Covering". Joyce claims that Leroy Thompson is her " covering" and she is her sheep " covering" where does that leave Jesus Christ the Only one who died for you. Is He standing at the door or your heart wanting to be asked to come in? Joyce blood did not cover your sin but the Shed Blood of Jesus does if you truly have placed your faith and trust in His finished work of the Cross. Yes Joyce does use the precious Name of Jesus Christ and His Shed Blood however is she truly one Called by God to preach the truth or is she called by man to preach lies and half truths. Is Money cometh to the body of Christ truly what the Good News of Jesus Christ is about?
ReplyDeleteOf course Joyce has told her people not to read this blog as she has convinced them they will loose their inheritance if they choose not to follow her teaching. She is living the life high off the hog while some of those who are following her are not able to pay their bills or even do more the exist. Are men and women so desperate for the things of this world that they will follow this false teacher into eternal damnation? I have a hard time understanding how anyone could fall for such deception an remain there for years if they are truly seeking the face of the One True God. Can anyone help me with this?

I have heard Joyce say many times that the gates of " The Gates of Hell will not prevail against her church" well the way I look at is this. The "gates of Hell will not prevail against the Church of Jesus Christ". Now as I see this so called Church that Joyce preaches lies and half truth the gates of hell won't have to do anything to that " religion" as it is owned by hell it's self. Will it close I truly believe it will but when is the question? God only knows the answer to that question but I do know the Holy Spirit knows those that are His and they are leaving this cult for the truth.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why people stay with Joyce Leiphon, probably it can only be attributed to the fact that she has them all under a spell and brainwashed and has this cult power and control over them. But I truly believe they will eventually come to their senses and leave this very dangerous psychopath.

Exodus 3:14); that if you deny Jesus' physical resurrection, your faith is in vain (1 Cor. 15:14, cf. ReplyDeleteNow I have to asked did any of the Apostles say that Jesus died so you could be rich. According to my reading and studying of the Scripture this was never taught. We were told we would suffer for Christ sake but he would never leave us or forsake us. So why does this woman add to the Gospel of Jesus Christ is it so she can become rich or is she truly looking out for you spiritual welfare. Is she truly teaching the truth that is written in the Most Holy Word of God. Doesn't she tell you if you do not pay you tithe and offering to her God can't bless you. Search for the truth yourself do not take any man's word for the truth.

Some of them include saying that we are little gods, that Christ died in order to make us wealthy, that Christ lost his divine nature after being crucified and regained it later, that homosexuality is just an alternative lifestyle, that abortion is acceptable, that salvation is maintained by our good works, etc. These and other profound errors attack the very fabric of Christian truth. This is why we have to be diligent, to examine everything (1 Thess. 5:21), and to use Scripture as our final authority (2 Tim. 3:16).

The seriousness with which all Christians should take God's word, and examine those who teach it, cannot be overstated. We teachers are in for it on the Day of Judgment if we don't teach properly.

She pulls scripture out of context of which it was written to prove her point of view. She being willfully deceived as she chooses to believe as the Pharisee chose to believe that being wealthy is a sign of godliness. Joyce truly worships herself. She does not understand the true Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ. She does not understand even the scripture she uses. It is so sad and we all must pray for her and all who are following her to come to know the truth of the Whole Word of God

I was just listening to a message from a prominent clergy this morning who was talking about how Jesus was poor and taught us to love and help one another. You, Joyce Leiphon, are a greedy glutton who is a total disgrace to humanity. You should be totally ashamed of yourself. Everyone in St Lucie County except for the nuts in your cult know exactly what kind of peson you really are. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThere is something I have never been able to understand, so perhaps someone can enlighten me. I know a woman who is extraordinarily good and kind and loving and generous, and she is always giving money and donations to charitable causes and others. Yet God never seems to bless her with anything in return. So how is it that these dregs of society like Joyce Leiphon and Leroy Thompson consistently rip off and bilk others out of everything they have, and brag about it, only for God to bless them and makes them richer and richer and richer, while truly good honorable people receive nothing in return from God?
ReplyDeleteWell I will say this since I do not know this woman you are talking about yet she has enough to give money and donations to charitable causes and others and you do not see where God is blessing her. The Blessings of the LORD is not money. It can be if the need is there. I would be willing to bet this woman you are talking about is not looking to get anything from God because she is giving. You cannot always see the Blessing of the Lord given to you. The best one is the fact that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, died on the Cross for the sin of all men, rose from the dead, and now sits at the Right hand of God the Father as our mediator.

In fact if you really want the truth about manipulation/ witchcraft there are many good articles on the internet. My question is who is benefiting from the preaching that Joyce is preaching?
ReplyDeleteJesus Christ never manipulated anyone. "HE said if thou be willing" He never demanded or decree you have to do as I say. However Joyce Leiphon demands and decrees all the time. She has no right to demand or decree anything. She is practicing WITCHCRAFT. Who benefits from all the teaching she is spouting off. It sure appears to me that it is only herself and her daughter. Are you going hungry so they can travel to Italy or where they chose they want to go. Joyce was taught better by our dad yet she still holds on to a god that is not the God of the bible as our Dad told her 40 years ago. She has never truly turned her Life over to the Lord Jesus Christ yet wants to use His name and His blood for her own personal gain.
Satan does most of his evil work in the church. Joyce is a tool of the devil by preaching a false doctrine. The lie he wants you to believe is anything that takes you away from the truth that is in the Word of God. Anything that makes you think you can be as God meaning that you can speak into existence what ever it is you want. Joyce Leiphon is using the Word of God for her personal gain. If this were not so she would not shun those who know longer follow her as though she is the last authority. Satan is alive and well in this church.He is there to kill and steal and destroy you. Satan does his best work in churches such as lotwc. He has shown up as the angel of light. He is using this preacher to speak some truth mixed with a lot of false. Joyce has made Leroy Thompson her god and those who are following Joyce has made her their god. This is totally against the Whole book of the Bible. the bible tells us clearly what will happen to false teachers and their follower. It is called destruction. From Genesis to Revelations read it for yourself and ask The true God of the Bible for the truth. If you want it He will freely give it. It will not cost you half your income. If you truly place the Lord Jesus Christ first in your life it will only cost you your life, not your income. Jesus provides for His own. But if you are of Satan you have to preach the false in order to get money. These preachers are not depending on the God of the Bible to provide all their need. They are depending on the ones following them to give them all they want not just their need. Wake up people time is short. I truly believe the " Rapture of the Church" is close. Will you be going or will you be left behind to face the Wrath of God that is coming on this earth soon.Those who are His will not suffer the Wrath of God. Of course Leiphon would never think to serve the poor or anyone; she is only interested in pleasing and serving herself. But then again that is the classic earmark of a sociopath. And even if she doesn't go to Hell because of running a cult and her greed, she will ultimately end up going to Hell simply because she has been so mean to others over many, many years and destroyed so many lives. Lust covers much of what Joyce Leiphon and Leroy Thompson are all about. they are lusting after your worldly goods for their own personal gain. Jesus says " come out from among them". With this lust for the world how can they be " rightly dividing the Word of God". It truly is impossible for either of the to be hearing from the Lord Jesus Christ.
It has come to my attention that Joyce Leiphon is telling people that I hate her. I am her older sister and I do not hate her or anyone. However, I do hate the sin that she is preaching. The false doctrine she is filling her followers with. Covetousness, Greed, is sin according to the Word of God. It doesn't matter how you present Greed or Covetousness it is still sin. By using the name of Jesus Christ and His Shed Blood does not undo the sin. Only seeking the Face of the Most High God can anyone be delivered from any sin. I may not have this particular sin but I do have to Seek the Face of God to show me the ones I have not repented of. Jesus Christ and Him Crucified is the only Gospel that God the Father accepts that will free you from all sin. What is the object of your Faith Joyce? From all I have heard you say in your preaching is money, money money. Yes you do mention the Name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Yes you do mention His shed Blood. But just by adding Jesus name and his shed Blood does not make what you preach as the True Gospel the truth. I do have to question if you have ever truly Met this Man Called the Savior of the World. This man was and is the only Son of the Most High God. This man speaks about the moral issue of the Love of money, which lead to all kinds of evil. However Joyce speaks as though it is okay to trust in things of this world,( riches, possessions, material wealth no matter what it is as part of the truth. No I do not hate Joyce but I do hate the false she is teaching Jesus Christ has never and will never reject anyone who cries out to him. Joyce believes she is god therefore if anyone leaves her teaching she no longer has a heart for them. While the Lord Jesus still loves all who reject Him. His love never changes for His creation. However when you reject the truth for the lie as Joyce has done He can no longer help you unless you repent and turn to Him. Joyce has no right to reject those who leave her false teaching. She has no right to split up families. Where, Joyce, is the Change in your life that the LORD Jesus has made possible when you call Him Savior. You are still about splitting up families as you have done most of your adult life. Where is the change in your life. You are still greedy for money and wanting everyone to think you are more wealthy then you are You are still wanting to be worshiped as you did when you were a kid. You still love the sound of your own voice which is the reason for a nickname you were given. You like Eve has believed the Lie and " You shall be as God". Haven't you said in your book to join your church that you have become "Him". Again No I do not hate you I just hate the sin in your life. I am praying for your poor soul
ReplyDeleteGood word jfc. Joyce and her group need to look at my utmost for his highest for the reading on Dec. 30th. The life we can have in Adam or the life in Jesus Christ. And the 1st chapter in Romans 16-32 The Gospel of Truth to everyone who believes, then the wrath of God for all who suppress the truth. See how sin has it's way, that God gives them over to a depraved mind. Also 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 mystery of lawlessness-----but took pleasure in wickedness. This chapter not only deals with end time ( rapture) but with false teaching that are now going own. And a warning to each believer that they will held responsible for what they believe, to study the word of God and to learn to rightly divide it. ReplyDeleteI know it has been dealt with here before on Joyce's teaching on Gen. 1:26 image and likeness of God. But Eph. 4:17-24 states clearly what the truth is, what is given to each believer. Verse 23-24 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. Nothing like she teaches.Maybe some day God will open the blinded eyes and the deaf ears, and she before it is too late see and hear the Truth. Because she clearly does not know The Jesus that Paul preached of the Bible. Verse from NASB.
