I've reposted a comment this blog received last month. If only one person reads this blog and stays away from Light of the World Church and Joyce Leiphon, my mission will have been accomplished.

So, being new to Ft Pierce, I stumbled across the church website first - sounded really nice - then was actually invited out by a member -- sounded like a confirmation - but as always, I prayed that the Lord would guide me -- I then found this blog while looking for the church website again to find the address so that I could attend a service. I hope that what I am reading is not simply bitterness -- but after reviewing a few of the online recorded messages, including the most recent Sunday message on tithing -- and watching people drop off money on the pulpit while she was preaching, i must say that I believe what you are saying here. There are 2 sides to every story, but even without this blog, I caught quite a few things in the videos that made my stomach turn.... Since when did planting seeds have anything to do with money - rather than bearing fruit - which is to be shared!?

I agree with you Bill if just one person realizes that what Joyce is teaching is wrong and they either leave that group or decide not to go there our mission will have been accomplished. So far I think it has been working
ReplyDeletecan anyone tell me what the fruit of the preaching of Joyce Leiphon and other money preachers is. I have been told because people have been healed from the preaching of the ministry is the fruit. I thought the fruit had nothing to do with the so called miracles of healing these preachers claim but souls that are saved and develop a Love relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ who died for them. Are these preachers guilty of the same offense that enticed Eve to sin? I think it is call "I want to be as God". Don't these same preachers teach that you can produce what ever you want by your spoken word. Don't they claim they have all the "Rights" of God. Correct me if I am wrong.
ReplyDeleteI could be wrong but fruit to me means that I can and will allow the life of Jesus to live through me. The fruit of my life can only be produce by that fact. Am I doing all the Word of God says to bring souls to the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Or am I trying to live Christ life on my own. If you know Jesus then by Jesus own words we know the Father then if we know both Jesus and the Father we have the Holy Spirit in us which will enable us to allow the Life of Christ to live through us. No longer looking out for myself but doing what the LORD Jesus has called all His people to do. That is to bring salvation knowledge of Christ and lead all those the Lord sends our way to the Truth of HIS GOSPEL> That is what our works are all about. Works should according to many Bible scholars should have be translated as " fruit". And Yes there is prosperity in the true Gospel but all things must come from our trust and faith only in the finished work of Jesus Christ. It is by the Faith " of Christ that I can be saved. Through grace that HE Christ ministers through the Holy Spirit an not man.

ReplyDeleteHas anyone ever wondered why the Lord Jesus called those who follow Him His sheep? Sheep are natural born followers. They will follow another sheep even to their own death. I did google are sheep the dumbest animal. While not as dumb as most want to think they will follow any thing that leads. Now I am not putting this animal down by any means. I just want to make a comparison between Humans who will follow every wind of doctrine the Devil throws at them in order to gain their heart desire, and the sheep that will follow another to their death. If you are following after Joyce Leiphon and other preachers like her are you following after the True Shepherd which is Jesus Christ or are you following after another lost sheep? Any sheep that leads without a true leader? It appears the Joyce Leiphon has lost her way and is following after something other then the GOOD Shepherd!!!!. Please pray for this lost soul!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Joyce has the Gospel of Mark in her bible? While reading Mark 4, I realize that there is no way what we sow is money but actually is the Word of God. That gets blessed. That is what Mark four is about. So if she is preaching sowing seed is money isn't she changing the meaning of what Jesus explains in the 13-20 verses of Mark 4, is sowing the Word of God. Some will experience a large return on what they sow which does not mean Money. Please all you who are following the teaching of Joyce Leiphon and others like her read this chapter and ask the Lord to give you the truth as it is written .

ReplyDeleteSince Joyce has not been called by God to Preach His Word this will never happen. She may repent and turn to Him because of the Love God has for her but she will never be a Minister if the true word of God. She does not meet the qualifications of the Word of God to be placed in that position. I am praying for Joyce to accept the correction the Holy Spirit has sent her many times. I pray she will stop ignoring the prompting of the Holy Spirit to repent. We are all free moral agents with the ability to reject the truth and this is what Joyce has done so far.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if Joyce could ever preach about Jesus without bring money into the conversation. You do know that what you talk about the most is what you trust in the most don't you. I think the Bible say were you heart is that is where your treasure is. If you are always speaking about money isn't that where you heart is. If you are always wanting more an more material possessions. Vacations, In Italy, Hawaii, England,,Shopping only at the best stores, It amazes me the so many are so deceived by the teaching of this and other money preachers. Money is their lifestyles. If you don't have it yet just pretend you do and it will come. Of course you have to demand God to give you what you want. I wonder Who died and left Joyce Leiphon as God? I know Jesus Didn't as He sent back the Holy Spirit to teach, lead and guide us all, not just a few. I trust in the LORD to lead and guide me not some self profess god such as Joyce Leiphon and others like her. You cannot obey God and Joyce Leiphon as the same time. If you are trusting in Joyce and Leroy you are trusting in sin filled humans not God.

Even though it may take years and years and years, these ponzi schemers, fraudsters, and income tax evaders ALWAYS get caught eventually. Because they are so sociopathic, they think they have special entitlements over others and that it could never happen to them. But they eventually do get caught. These Federal investigators are not stupid. They know exactly how these men and women operate. Take my word for it.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking very seriously about contacting the State Attorney's Office and the news media and asking them to educate the public about how these so-called men and women of God operate and scam their followers solely for the purpose of making themselves wealthy, so that hopefully some of these deceived followers will come to their senses.

DeleteIt has been two years ago this month that I had a burden for Joyce Leiphon and the fact that she is a false teacher I have cried out to the Lord for her. We all need to pray for this poor lost soul and all those who are following her. Vengeance is mine says the Lord. Anyway while I was in prayer for Joyce I was searching the scripture to see if there was any possibility of her being saved if she died while preaching what she is preaching. I know the Lord spoke to my heart that she is truly HIS problem. Yes I agree with you anonymous pray fast if the Lord leads and seek the Hand of God in her life. I love this woman she is my natural born sister and My prayer has been just as the Lord Jesus Prayed " That none be Lost that the Father gave to Him". Now I truly believe Jesus died for every human being who has ever lived or will ever live. Jesus died for Joyce also even if she has strayed from the truth. So yes let us all join in agreement that the LORD will intervene in Her life and set all the captives free.
ReplyDeleteNo I do not condone what Joyce is doing. I told her years ago she was wrong in her teaching. With that I will tell you this she and my other family members who follow this false teaching consider me to be a child of the devil. They will not discuss anything with me as I have told them if the continue in the teaching they are following according to my understanding of the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ they will be lost. Joyce is preaching another gospel and another Jesus not the the Jesus of the bible. Since she and the others will not talk to me I found this blog and have posted all that I believe the Lord has put on my heart to say. The bible tells us to hate the sin but love the sinner. Yes it is very hard for me to not be able to reach a loved one with the truth of the Word of God. I cry out to the Lord to intervene in this matter as Joyce is headed for destruction and not just her but all her followers including two of my sisters her own daughter and other family members. So do I condone her absolutely not. Joyce and the other sisters and family members avoid me as if I am the devil himself. All believer are to witness to the truth of the Word of God by our lifestyles and being obedient to the Word of God. What kind of a person knows the truth and will not do everything the Lord puts on their heart to help all who cross their path to share the true Gospel. Yes I do love Joyce and I do not accept her lifestyle as being Godly and she knows. She tell other family members she doesn't read this blog but I believe that is a lie just like the one she is preaching. Her human nature will not allow you to skip seeing what posted about her on this site. If you think I condone her you are very much mistaken. I know she has hurt many families over the years including her stepdaughters and former husband and his family.
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me to hear any preacher tell their member if anyone leaves her church she no longer has a heart for them. That is what I heard Joyce Leiphon say on her web site preaching video's. I believe we would all be in sad shape if that is the Way God felt about us when we do not obey Him. I do not know of any human being who as attained the Status of God. I am so glad the My savior forgives my unbelief when I ask. Yes I do have to ask forgiveness for my unbelief because at times I fail to depend on the LORD to take care of me. Even Jesus says a true shepherd would leave the 99 and go after the one that left or is lost. I understand that Joyce cannot speak or have anything to do with those who chose to follow Jesus instead of her. Though she talks much of the Blood of Jesus and His Holy Name is she truly depending on Jesus Christ and for all her need? It appears to me she is depending on what she is doing that make her more deserving then others. She boast about property and so much material possessions that I find it hard to believe that she truly knows the LORD at all.

The fact that Joyce states she would no longer have a heart for anyone who leaves her church and does not want to have anything to do with anyone who follows Jesus instead of herself, clearly indicates that she is quite the cult leader. This poor sould does not know the Lord Jesus Christ at all; all she knows is how to scam others to make herself rich. However, I came to a conclusion today. I am going to forgive this woman and move on with my life, because if I don't do that, I am no better than she is and just as evil as she is. So at this moment, I forgive you, Joyce Leiphon, and put everything in the hands of my Lord; he will take care of the situation and render the ultimate justice to you. So from this moment forward, I say LET GO AND LET GOD. He is far more mighty and powerful than I am.

If you are anything like me when I forgave certain people I felt as though 10 tons had lifted off my shoulders. I felt free for the first time in years. DeleteHi there, I was wondering if anyone could answer a question for me about a supposed TV evangelist. There is some guy, don't know his name, but he's really scruffy and dirty looking and very unkempt, who appears on the INSP network and talks up big about "sowing a seed". He tells people, for example, that if they will sow a seed of $58 to him, and then count off 58 days, at the end of those 58 days, they will be blessed with financial miracles. I was wondering if this guy is somehow tied in with these "Money Cometh" churches, because he sounds just like Joyce Leiphon and Leroy Thompson "preaching." Thank you.
ReplyDeleteProbably Mike Murdock. This seed message was developed by televangelists as a means of raising money, and it has worked quite well. It's made its way into our churches too. DeleteI have found most TV preachers just want your money there are exceptions. I do not want or need more trash put in my mind after listening to the trash " religion" I grew up in and the Preaching of Joyce Leiphon. I choose only to listen to Charles Stanley and Jimmy Swaggart. It does take money to spread the Gospel and I truly believe if you allow the LORD to lead you with all that you have He will truly put on your heart which Ministry to support. I do support jsm.org and the " Message of the Cross" he preaches a long with Charles Stanley. There isn't a church near where I live that come close to teaching as these two ministers do. These Men have truly been called of God to preach the truth.
ReplyDeleteI can only listen to just some of Joyce Leiphon's preaching then I have to shut her off. Today I listen to her preaching of 11/24 she made the statement that we first have to give our whole self 100% to God and I do agree with that. However then she made the statement that we have to give 100% of ourselves to the man or woman of god. Now how can you give 200% of anything when you only have 100% to give anywhere to any person place or thing. She also made the comment that you have to be teachable. I have to ask is she teachable when she will not discuss the Word of God with anyone who does not agree with her teaching? Has not the Lord sent many to show her the error of her way,yet she refuses to listen. She has commented that many have come and told her she is wrong and some have pointed her to the Word of God and she refuses to be taught the Truth is she unteachable. I pray that the LORD has not withheld his hand from her and that she will repent and turn to the Lord for the truth not keep following a false doctrine
ReplyDeleteOver several years now I have heard prosperity Preachers and some of their follower tell me that Jesus was rich because he had a treasurer. You know I often wondered how to answer this because in fact He did have one. But the other day I heard a Preacher say yes Jesus had a treasure in order to receive the offering people gave to his ministry so He could provide for the need of those following him. Like food and a place to lay their heads to sleep at night. Then he brought out the fact if He was are rich as these so called preachers say he was why did he have to depend on God the Father to increase the number of loafs of bread and fish in order to feed the people who were in great numbers.. something to think about

Eph 3:20 According to the Power at work WITHIN US", and most Ministers today have ZERO ! #2 The Sower needs to be HEAVILY ANOINTED at least at the time they sow. Put these TWO together, and Jesus shows up $$$ Like He Promised. And Adam in the Garden is Proof that a Dimension in the Spirit where FINE GOLD is Provided (Prior to Sowing)
So in the Diallect of a popular Prosperity Teacher I would suggest: "Yall need ta Set Ya Butts Down and Shut-Up teachin Prosperity till ya get Atleast a few Terminal Illnesses Healed.". Stop Talkin about Smith Wigglesworth till you raise the Dead like Jesus said.
I'm looking for that type of Soil to Sow in. Like William Seymour who prayed (9-hrs a day for months) Which resulted in AZUSA FIRE. You Sow into Something like that, I guarantee you'll get Fast Multiplication. LIKE JESUS SAID!

ReplyDeleteListen to 11/27 message, about 7-8 minutes in. She tells of a vision that God gave to her years ago, so sad how she interpreted it. That vision was a warning to her concerning her message. People were walking out of her church falling off of a ledge into the lake of fire, she claims that the Lord told her that she has to preach the Gospel, or many are going to die.
ReplyDeleteThe money gospel that she preaches in not the true Gospel of Jesus Christ!! She has always believed she was more important then others and that the LORD spoke to her more then anyone else. When our family first met the LORD Jesus there was a prophecy that we all would be ministers of the Gospel. I truly know of only two members out of a family of 12 including our parents that were truly called by the LORD to be true Ministers. They were my dad and my older brother. But to add to this statement all members of the true body of Christ are ministers of Christ. This so called vision that Joyce claims is another figment of her own mind. This is not the first vision that puts her in the limelight. She had a vision many years ago while still married to her children father that he would be killed and She would lay hands on him and he would recover,. This never happened. I want to tell those who are following her if you remain in this false teacher web you will parish. The LORDS says " come out from within her" Rev 18 it means all false religion and that is what Joyce is teaching " RELIGION". All the your gotta do's The gift of salvation is "FREE" It cost you nothing but your life, totally sold out to the one who died for you!!

Yet not so mentally ill that she doesn't know how to rip others off. Just out of curiosity, what did Leiphon and LOTWC do this year for the hungry on Thanksgiving? It's a safe bet that this selfish pig kept it all for herself.
ReplyDeleteWell I have to look to the Lord Jesus Christ to do what his word says he will do about false teachers. We are told many times in the Word of God to care for the poor and the hungry. I am not talking about caring for those who refuse to work. It says if you do not work you should not eat. I am talking about those through no fault of their own have nothing to sustain life. When you become so occupied with money and wealth that you do not obey the greatest commandment that the Lord Jesus gave us you have disobeyed the whole Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Commandment you will find in Matt. 22:36-40. Joyce needs as do the rest of us read and study this scripture and do it.

ReplyDeleteThose with the right attitude toward the truth are always willing to test what they teach with others. They invite those of opposite views to work together for truth and unity. They appreciate when those who differ with them point out where they think they are wrong. They have everything thoroughly tested, studying arguments both for and against, looking at both sides of the question.
ReplyDeleteThose with the wrong attitude toward the truth are not willing to test what they teach in fair and open discussion, privately or publicly. They do not invite others to point out where they think they are wrong, and do not appreciate when others try to do so. They won't allow their members to hear both sides of an issue, and especially they don't want them to examine opposing arguments.
Hopefully, one can now understand what I mean when I say that Joyce Leiphon does not have the right attitude toward the truth. Those following her teaching are not allowed, and especially are not encouraged to hear both sides regarding truth and error. They are not to read books which differ from Her doctrine. Thus, are encouraged by Joyce Leiphon to be closed minded to anything which differs from her teaching. We ask, "Why don't Joyce Leiphon and others that preach like her encourage their members to examine opposing Scriptural teaching?" False teachers have learned that when truth and error are examined side by side, some begin to see the truth. False teachers are afraid of being exposed and of losing their members.

It is a trap to presume that God wants to make us perfect specimens of what He can do— God’s purpose is to make us one with Himself. The emphasis of holiness movements tends to be that God is producing specimens of holiness to put in His museum. If you accept this concept of personal holiness, your life’s determined purpose will not be for God, but for what you call the evidence of God in your life. How can we say, “It could never be God’s will for me to be sick”? If it was God’s will to bruise His own Son (Isaiah 53:10), why shouldn’t He bruise you? What shines forth and reveals God in your life is not your relative consistency to an idea of what a saint should be, but your genuine, living relationship with Jesus Christ, and your unrestrained devotion to Him whether you are well or sick.
Christian perfection is not, and never can be, human perfection. Christian perfection is the perfection of a relationship with God that shows itself to be true even amid the seemingly unimportant aspects of human life. When you obey the call of Jesus Christ, the first thing that hits you is the pointlessness of the things you have to do. The next thought that strikes you is that other people seem to be living perfectly consistent lives. Such lives may leave you with the idea that God is unnecessary— that through your own human effort and devotion you can attain God’s standard for your life. In a fallen world this can never be done. I am called to live in such a perfect relationship with God that my life produces a yearning for God in the lives of others, not admiration for myself. Thoughts about myself hinder my usefulness to God. God’s purpose is not to perfect me to make me a trophy in His showcase; He is getting me to the place where He can use me. Let Him do what He wants.
