Six Women Leaders to Avoid by Lee Grady part 3

Here is the last part of Lee Grady's article.  If I didn't know better, he must have known Joyce Leiphon personally. Each one of these traits I've seen personally in Joyce Leiphon.  Lee Grady is the author and it's lengthy so I'm breaking it up into three parts.  If you want to read the entire article you can find it here:  http://www.charismamag.com/life/women/10176-six-women-leaders-to-avoid?showall=1

5. THE FEMINIST I don't believe all forms of feminism are wrong. In the early years of the 20th century, many brave Christian men and women worked tirelessly to win women the right to vote. Gender equality is a human right, and it is something that God set down in the first chapters of Genesis. Because both male and female are created in His image, we should work to correct the injustices of gender inequality and abuse.
But there is another more sinister form of feminism that has no support in Scripture. It is a bitter, vengeful attitude that places women against men, and often elevates women to a superior position. Sadly, this worldly spirit has invaded the church.
The feminist church leader has a man-hating spirit. She may be a gifted communicator, but if you listen closely you will hear the sound of a grinding axe when she speaks. She has not forgiven the men who hurt her in the past, and she intends to punish those men who get in her way today. Her unresolved issues are transferred to her audience. Her poison is injected into everyone who hears her.
She may claim that she believes in gender equality, but she will often surround herself only with women and refuses to put men in certain positions. Oftentimes the feminist has experienced at least one failed marriage and does not have any healthy relationships with men. Because she is unhealed, she cannot be an effective healer.
6. THE VICTIM This is the most pitiful of all the bad examples I've listed. She is guaranteed to make you feel sorry for her. And she might use a full box of Kleenex to help you understand her pain.
What the victim lacks in leadership skills she will make up for in sob stories.
Everyone is against her. She is suspicious of her own congregation. Other churches, she says, are maligning her. The devil, she insists, has targeted her ministry for destruction. Every trial that comes her way confirms that she is the focus of a demonic conspiracy.
Chaos surrounds this woman. Her ministry is always in turmoil. The victim moves from crisis to crisis, always anticipating another tragedy around the next corner. True joy has been replaced by a constant religious anxiety that repels people—thus making sure that her ministry will always be composed of a small "remnant" of people who have similar emotional baggage.
Of course if you suggest that this woman's misfortune might be the result of her negative outlook on life, she won't listen. That's because the victim has found a bizarre form of pleasure in her dysfunction. She's become quite comfortable at the center of her painful universe.
DON'T SETTLE FOR LESS
All these bad examples are in the church today—and each has her male counterpart. But I am not giving up in my resolve to see an army of gifted, trained women who will serve as pastors, missionaries, evangelists, CEOs, government leaders and social reformers. This is the hour for women to arise.
Instead of divas, we need humble women who are willing to serve even if they receive no public recognition. Instead of control freaks, we need leaders who wash the feet of their disciples and push them to greatness while modeling sacrifice. Instead of flirts, we need mature, dignified mothers of faith who have crucified their adolescent fantasies.
Rather than flakes who are tossed around by spiritual fads, we need discerning women who love biblical truth more than charismatic goose bumps. Rather than feminists, we need women who have resolved their issues with men and are willing to partner with them on equal footing. Rather than victims, we need women in ministry who are emotionally healthy.
Don't be discouraged if you see yourself in any of these negative examples. There is probably a little bit of diva in all of us! And all of us have resisted the urge to become control freaks.
If you are called to leadership, God will guide the preparation process—and He will bring mentors and positive role models in your life to challenge and encourage you. If you allow the Holy Spirit to shape your character, you may end up being the good example the church is waiting for.

  1. Word Faith Movement

    On Cults
The Word Faith Movement started out by denying God is sovereign in healing only whom He wills. See James 4:14-16. If you were not healed you were lacking in faith or did not have the right formula.
This led to the prosperity gospel. With the right formula you can be guaranteed health & wealth.
This led to commanding God to do these things, instead of asking.
Then faith was redefined as no longer trusting in God, but it was a magic force you could tap into. (We no longer need God, we do it ourselves.)
This led to the teaching that through this power of faith we can become little gods.
This led to the heresy that Jesus was transformed into a demon possessed mortal in hell so we can be transformed into gods on earth.
Finally this broke out into numerous myths and false teachings.
Does any of this sound like your preacher? If so run for your life!!!!

  2. To cut straight through to the bottom line, whatever it is in which one has placed one’s faith, if it’s not the Cross of Christ and the Cross of Christ exclusively, then it is “law.” Pure and simple it is law! And that’s man’s big problem.
Man, and especially religious man, loves to make laws, and to project those laws, even though they may be called something else, as the way to victory, etc. Man has yet to learn that due to the Fall, he cannot keep laws, irrespective as to how simple they might be. In fact, this problem is so acute that God had to become Man, come down here and die on a Cross in order that man might be saved. That’s the reason that Paul said, and I quote from THE EXPOSITOR’S STUDY BIBLE: “I do not frustrate the Grace of God (if we make anything other than the Cross of Christ the object of our faith, we frustrate the Grace of God, which means we stop its action, and the Holy Spirit will no longer help us): for if righteousness come by the Law (any type of Law), then Christ is dead in vain. (If I can successfully live for the Lord by any means other than Faith in Christ and the Cross, then the Death of Christ was a waste)” (Gal. 2:21)

So if your belief is in the " name it and claim it blab and grab it Word of Faith Doctrine the Cross of Christ is of no effect in your life. Paul said this not me or any other preacher. Paul being inspired by the Holy Spirit is telling you the truth

  3. FINAL CHARGES

8 This is a Faithful saying (refers to the fact that it is trustworthy), and these things I will that you affirm constantly (proclaims in undeniable terminology that the Preacher and Teacher of the Gospel should constantly Preach the Cross), that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works (the greatest “good work” of all is to tell people about Jesus). These things are good and profitable unto men.
9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the Law (refers in this case to the Law of Moses, but could refer to any philosophy or religious ramblings—in other words, anything but the Cross); for they are unprofitable and vain. (Faith in Christ and the Cross alone will bring about profitable results. Everything else is unprofitable.)
    10 A man who is an heretick (refers to someone who has obviously departed from the Word of God) after the first and second admonition reject (if they will not listen after two warnings about false doctrine, they and their Ministry are to be rejected, which means they are to be avoided; that being the case, there should be no further action outside of praying for the individual);
11 Knowing that he who is such is subverted (spiritually turned inside out), and sins (states that all false doctrine is sin), being condemned of himself (brings an automatic condemnation).

I will be putting scriptures on the Blog about what the true Gospel of Jesus Christ is. Not the false gospel so many are preaching. I will say that I cannot find in the Bible anywhere the Word say we give to God in order to get. He will not honor our flesh .

  4. MY Brethren, have not the Faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of Glory (should have been translated, “My Brethren, you have not the Faith of our Lord Jesus Christ”; in other words, the ones James was writing to were not conducting themselves as the Lord), with respect of persons. (If the Lord doesn’t show respect of persons, then we should not as well!)
    2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel (addresses the rich), and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment (refers to the obvious);
3 And you have respect to him who wears the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit you here in a good place (show him partiality); and say to the poor, you stand there, or sit here under my footstool (proclaims a terrible attitude and spirit):
4 Are you not then partial in yourselves (answers itself), and are become judges of evil thoughts? (To show “respect of persons” is looked at by God as “evil.”)
5 Hearken, my beloved Brethren, Has not God chosen the poor of this world rich in Faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which He has promised to them who love Him? (This demands a positive answer. Not many mighty, not many noble, answer the Call [I Cor. 1:26–29].)
6 But you have despised the poor. (This refers to the fact that some Christians had despised those whom God had chosen.) Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? (This proclaims a worldwide problem that has existed from the beginning of time, and continues unto this present hour.)
7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which you are called? (Those who place their Faith and trust in money will ultimately blaspheme the Name of the Lord.)
8 If you fulfil the Royal Law according to the Scripture (Lev. 19:18; Mat. 22:39), You shall love your neighbour as yourself, you do well (show favor to everyone, whether rich or poor):
9 But if you have respect to persons, you commit sin (there are many things of this nature which God constitutes as sin, but to which many Believers pay little heed), and are convinced of the Law as transgressors. (Refers to the Law of Moses, which was the only acceptable moral Law in the world of that day. To be sure, its moral precepts continue to be binding on the entirety of the human race, but Jesus fulfilled them in totality.)

I wonder how many pastors and those following the Money preachers look down their noses on those who do not dress the part of being rich? Or those who will not conform to their teachings?

  5. I have always been taught that when Adam sinned the human race was then fallen and the dominion of the earth was given to Satan. We no longer have dominion on this earth. Then I have been taught that when Jesus became my " sin offering" and my sin debt was paid I would become a new creation " in Christ". Now I do not understand how any preacher can say that now that the Blood of Jesus Christ has been shed for all men that those who believe in Him now have dominion on the earth. According to Col 1:27 "To Whom God would make known what is the riches of the Glory of this mystery among the Gentiles ( refers to the fact that the Cross is for all and is not limited to racial or national lines); which is Christ in you ( made possible by the Cross of Christ), the Hope of Glory ( the full realization will materialize at the coming Resurrection). I took this from the Expositors study Bible from Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. It is not about money or how much we have or do not have as far as some preacher are saying. I truly believe God prospers those who obey him. However, I do not believe in the Prosperity Gospel so many are preaching. Matt. 6:33 says seek first the KINGDOM of God and everything you have need of will be given to you. Now if you have to give and give and give yet you have to lie and say you have more then enough in order to accepted by your Pastor what does that say about your religion. God says not to lie. It is a sin. It is also very possible that when you are giving money to the Prosperity Preachers so they can promote further a false doctrine you are doing the devils work by allowing them to lead so many away from the Truth which is Man could not save himself and that is the reason God sent HIS ONLY son to die in our place. I just cannot see how anyone could follow such lies. I wonder how many bills these preachers have paid for a stranger or bought groceries for a family with Children as I heard a preacher talk about. You cannot do if you do not have money. It truly saddens me to think I have to have lots of money before I can bless another person. My God and Father supplies all my need. Out of my need I will gladly give to support the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is only " JESUS CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED". not money cometh to me now. I am truly blessed by my God for he has forgiven me my sin. I am redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb (Jesus Christ). The truth of the Gospel.

  6. Been doing a study about Idolatry. Do you realize every human being has a bit of GREED in them? When we are praying for God to give us more money or even personal material things . We are not trusting God to provide our Need as he says in Matt 6:33. Now if we are not seeking His face in order to KNOW him but just the get from Him I am sorry to say we are worshiping ourselves instead of the One true God. Yes the LOVE of money is the root of all KINDS of evil mainly idolatry, Spiritual Idolatry, How can some one Preach Jesus and Him Crucified tell us who we are in Christ then tell us all the got to do list, Mainly give. give, God wants your heart not your money. The money is His anyway. Following after the money preachers even if the tell you who you are in Christ and that the Blood of Jesus has washed away your sin you are following after " another Gospel another Jesus". You may as well not profess to know Jesus at all for all the good it will do you when Jesus Comes back for his Church. You have placed your trust in the preacher and the money instead of the death, burial and resurrection and the One who sits at the Right Hand of the Father, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Matt 7:21-23 This scripture tells me that not everyone using Jesus Name will enter the Kingdom of Heaven . I place my faith my trust totally in the finished work of JESUS CHRIST do you?

  7. Just heard a preacher say that Jesus died to give us health and wealth. I thought He died for all men to redeem us from the world the flesh and the devil and pay our sin debt. I cannot see anywhere in the Word of God that Jesus died so I could be wealth in this life.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I also just heard the same thing from a preacher. I will go a little farther with the fact this preachers says let this mind be in you that was in Christ. Then the preacher said we can have what we say as Jesus had what He said. The preacher talked about how Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead as if He did it on His own. I wonder if this preacher has ever read where Jesus Stated He only did what the Father showed him or told Him to do. So if you want the Mind of Christ to be in you what do you do? Do you give more money, buy bigger houses nicer cars designer clothing to show that you are godly or do you ask the The Holy Spirit to lead and guide into all truth and ask The Father in Jesus Name for there to be less of you and more of HIM in your life. Jesus Christ died on the Cross to pay the debt no sinner could pay. God the Father cannot accept anything having to do with our Flesh Only what His Son Jesus Christ has done. Jesus was obedient to the Father. Jesus Christ did only the Will of the Father nothing out of himself. (his Flesh)

  9. WARNING TO THE RICH

23 And Jesus looked round about, and said unto His Disciples (He looks searchingly at His Disciples), How hardly shall they who have riches enter into the Kingdom of God! (It’s not the riches which constitute the sin, but the attitude toward them.)
24 And the Disciples were astonished at His words (the Jews of that time considered riches to be the approval of God; at the same time, they considered poverty to be His disapproval). But Jesus answered again, and said unto them, Children (using this word, He now takes them back to His dissertation concerning receiving the Kingdom of God as a little child; a child does not grasp after things), how hard is it for them who trust in riches to enter into the Kingdom of God! (As stated, it is the trust in riches, which constitutes the sin.)
25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God (the word that Jesus uses here for “needle,” doesn’t refer to a small hole in the wall as some think, but rather the type of needle used with thread).
26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? (Presents their theology being completely turned over.)
27 And Jesus looking upon them said (knew that His statement would produce this type of reaction), With men it is impossible (whether rich or poor, it is impossible to be saved without God), but not with God: for with God all things are possible (only through God, is the Salvation process possible).

    THE REWARDS OF CONSECRATION

28 Then Peter began to say unto Him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed You (by this statement, Peter shows that they are still thinking in terms of material rather than spiritual riches).
29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you (concerns all Believers, not just the Twelve), There is no man who has left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My sake, and the Gospel’s (to many, Jesus is just a means to an end, in other words, to get what they want in the realm of material things; He completely debunks that here; contrary to that, He says here that everything must be placed secondary to Christ),
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time (refers to this present life), houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands (we have the use of these things, and of that alone, we are to be concerned), with persecutions (regrettably, most of the persecution will come from the Church); and in the world to come Eternal Life (the world to come is eternal, and one must have Eternal Life to enter into that world. That alone is what counts!).
31 But many who are first shall be last; and the last first (Israel, although first, will be last, because of rejection of Christ; the Church, although last, will be first because of acceptance of Christ).

  10. Mark 11:20-26
20 And in the morning (probably refers to Tuesday), as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots (means that it was completely withered away; Israel in a short time would do the same, actually ceasing to be a nation).
21 And Peter calling to remembrance said unto Him, Master, behold, the fig tree which You cursed is withered away (Jesus could have done the same thing with His enemies, had He so desired; but He never used His Power, except in the way that the Heavenly Father told Him to use it).
22 And Jesus answering said unto them (indicates Jesus dealing with what happened, rather than why it happened; they were not able yet to grasp the fig tree as a symbol of Israel; that would come later!), Have faith in God (literally says, “Have the Faith of God”; such a faith judges profession [the fig tree] removes difficulties [the mountain] forgives injuries).
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says (the “mountain” is used as a symbol, i.e., “mountain of difficulties,” etc.; God is a Miracle working God, and will do so for any of His Children, “whosoever”; however, every petition must be predicated as well on the Will of God).
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire (one seeking to do the Will of God, will want only what God desires), when you pray (the value of prayer, without which these things cannot be done), believe (have faith) that you receive them, and you shall have them (as is obvious here, the receiving of these things, whatever they might be, requires relationship, and that is the key).
25 And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have ought against any (implying, that the above Promises will not be honored, if we harbor unforgiveness): that your Father also which is in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses (forgiveness from the Lord on our part, is predicated on us forgiving others).
26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in Heaven forgive your trespasses (implies, unforgiveness breaks down relationship, which destroys the whole program of God; in such a case, our sins are not forgiven, and neither can we expect God to answer prayer; these are extremely serious implications).1

  11. You can also look this Scripture up on the blueletterbile.org there is a wealth of information on using the Word of God in the right way. Meaning Rightly dividing His Word. We can only stand on the Word of God when the Holy Spirit wills. At His prompting. I nor anyone can pick and choose what we want to out of the Word of God. So sad many are doing just this. The name it and claim it doctrine.

  12. just heard from someone that the preachers who follow the money gospel is telling everyone it is not about money but a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. That money just follows those who are in relationship with Jesus Christ. My question is this. If this is true why did Jesus tell the rich young ruler to sell all that he had give it all to the poor and come follow ME. ( Luke 8:22). So if you are seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ money is the last thing on your mind. Following Him becomes the only thing on your mind. Know HIM deeply to the point that when we speak it is the LORD speaking not out of our own flesh. Now I know first hand many preachers who do not preach money and they have All their need and most of their wants met by the LORD Jesus Christ because they are truly seeking His Face in order to rightly divide the Word of God. The give to the poor they do not hoard up for themselves all the are given. When much is give much is required. True Ministers of the True Gospel will never preach Money as these prosperity preachers do. The ones I know personally give to those who have a need according to what the LORD puts on their heart. They promote the true Word of God. They are seeking the Heart of God in order to be Obedient to HIM not man and mans rules. These men and women that I know do have a relationship with the LORD Jesus Christ and they are not following after or praying for Money cometh to me now. It is so sad that so many preacher are being used as a tool of the devil to pervert the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. May God have mercy on their souls.

  14. 1 Tim 6:3-10
    If any man teach otherwise (proclaims the fact that some were teaching things opposed to Paul’s teaching), and consent not to wholesome words, even the Words of our Lord Jesus Christ (Lk. 20:25; Mat. 5:44; 11:28–30), and to the Doctrine which is according to Godliness (refers to the teaching concerning the proper attitude of the individual towards God);
4 He is proud (the false teacher), knowing nothing (despite his claims), but doting about questions and strifes of words (the profitless debating of which has rent asunder whole Churches, and even entire denominations), whereof comes envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings (proclaims the results of these useless questions as tendered by the false teachers),
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds (should have been translated, “of men corrupted in mind”), and destitute of the Truth (refers to the fact that they had once possessed the Truth, which is the Cross, but had turned away to other things), supposing that gain is Godliness (should have been translated, “supposing that Godliness is a way or source of gain”): from such withdraw yourself (have no dealings with these Preachers).
6 But Godliness with contentment (content with what we have, which means we are thankful to God for what we have) is great gain (true gain).
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. (This speaks of worldly possessions. The only thing a person can keep is their Faith, that is if it’s true Faith, which refers to Faith in Christ and the Cross.)
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. (The Lord can never bless grasping greed.)
9 But they who will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts (speaks of the sacrifice of principle), which drown men in destruction and perdition. (This refers to the wreck and ruin of the mind and body, but more particularly to the awful ruin of the eternal soul.)
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil (there is no conceivable evil that can happen to the sons and daughters of men, which may not spring from covetousness—the love of gold and wealth): which while some coveted after, they have erred from the Faith (speaking of Believers who have lost sight of the True Faith, which is the Cross, and have ventured into a false faith, trying to use it to garner much money), and pierced themselves through with many sorrows (the end result of turning in that direction; let all understand that the Word of God is true, and what it says will happen!).

  15. I wonder how these money preachers twist the above scripture to make it appear God wants everyone who follow them to be rich?. I will not listen to any preacher who will not preach Jesus Christ and Him Crucified for free!!! These preacher know what they are doing they are selling out the LORD Jesus Christ just like Judas did for 30 pieces of silver.

  16. Riches are a snare because they tend to make us satisfied with this life, instead of longing for the age to come; as well, often riches must be acquired at the expense of acquiring God.

    i. We may contrast the dependence of a child with the independence of a rich man - which does Jesus say is more likely to inherit the kingdom of God?

ii. As well - perhaps more importantly - the wealthy man is often a successful doer. He has done well, so he is rich. It is very easy for him to think that salvation, and relationship with the Lord is also a matter of successful doing, when really it is about humble receiving.

I found this on the Blueletterbible.org David Guzik his commentary on the 10th Chapter of Mark. this is just one of many views on seeking for riches.

  17. Jimmy Swaggart Bible Commentary Hebrews 6:17 pages 331-332

Since about the midpoint of the twentieth Century, the Church has had more teaching on Faith than perhaps all the balance of the centuries put together since
the Day of Pentecost; however, for the most part, and in fact, almost altogether, it's been Faith in the wrong thing. It's been Faith in self, Faith in Preachers, or
Faith in Faith, but it's not been true Faith in God.
While these Teachers claim that it's Faith in the Word, it is in fact, the Word which has been perverted, in other words, being pulled out of context.
The idea was, that individuals could find a Scripture which seemed to go along with their need, and then their constant repetition of the quotation of this
Scripture, along with their claiming to have Faith in this, would guarantee them some type of success. As stated, that is a perversion of the Word. That's taking
the Bible completely out of context, making Faith the principle force instead of the One in Whom we are supposed to be evidencing Faith, namely Christ. Let it
ever be understood, That God will never allow His Word to be used against Himself. And that's exactly what has happened:
This particular teaching has degenerated to the place, that its present thrust is about money altogether. I call it the" money gospel."
As stated, if it's not Faith in the Finished Work of Christ, then it's not Faith that God will recognize. In fact, the entirety of the Bible is the story of Christ and Him
Crucified. If one reads the Bible correctly, this becomes quickly obvious. The centerpiece of the whole of the Mosaic system was the Sacrifices. The Sacrificial
System in all of its complex ceremonies and dealings pointed exclusively to the coming Christ, and what He would do on the Cross for sinning and dying humanity.
In fact, the whole of the Old Testament pointed to Christ, and without fail, it pointed to what He would do as it regards His Finished Work (Isa.Chpt. 53).
The New Testament, which is the New Covenant, which is in fact the meaning of the Cross, explains to us what Christ did for us, and how it affects our hearts
and lives for time and eternity. The Cross of Christ is the centrality of the Gospel. To not understand that, is to not understand the Gospel!

  18. 1 John 2:27 But the Anointing which you have received of HIM abides in you and YOU need NOT that any MAN teach you: But as the same Anointing teaches you all things and is Truth and is no lie, and even as it has taught you you shall abide in HIM.

There are two safe guards which preserve from error. They are the HOLY SPIRIT and the HOLY SCRIPTURES. These teach young converts, actually all Believers to recognize and reject false teaching
A proper understanding of the Word refers to proper understanding of the Cross. If one doesn't properly understand the Cross one does not understand the Word. The Story of the bible is the story of Jesus Christ and HIM crucified. In truth the Cross was established in the mind of the Godhead even before the world was created, which means that the Cross was an established fact even before first words of the Bible were given (1 Peter 1:18-20

  19. It shocks me to hear preachers say they are following other men. I will Follow Jesus Christ. I know His Voice and no other will I follow. Now when Joyce Leiphon spews her lies via the internet I have to according the Word of God defend the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am saying Joyce repent of the heresy you are teaching. You may as well remained a Roman Catholic with the heresy you are teaching. God still puts watchman on the wall just like in Ezekiel. You Joyce have been warned by many not just family members to repent. And yes as you said on your teaching on understanding the Spirit of Honor you will be responsible for all who follow you and are lost because you do not understanding the word of God. You are right that there are many in the pulpit who are not called of God to preach and YOU are one of them. You do not rightly divide the Word of God
You say no one is to question YOU. I would like to know when Jesus made you a god. Are you like what the Catholics believe a co-redeemer with Jesus like Mary is. you want honor then preach the truth of the Word of God as our Dad taught you as he did all who would listen.Or is it that you think you are the only spiritual one in the family and of course those that follow you.

  20. Unless the worker (Pastor)lives a life hidden with Christ in God, he is apt to become an irritating dictator instead of an indwelling disciple. Many of us are dictators, we dictate to people and to meeting. Jesus never dictates to us in that way. Whenever Our Lord talked about discipleship, He always prefaced it with and "IF", never with an emphatic assertion "YOU MUST". discipleship carries an option with it.
Chamber My utmost for His Highest.
Nothing is ever required of any of us. We must willing come to Jesus and ask for the HOLY SPIRIT to teach us all truth. We are not to find new ways of bringing old heathen ways into the body of Christ. We all must by our life style show that all our faith and trust is in the finished work of Jesus Christ and HIS Cross. 21. When I came to know the truth about my Savior Jesus Christ and the fact He would allow me to nail Him to the cross and then forgive me if I ask. My life has not been my own. I am content with little as far as material things or with much. I will always go to the LORD over every word I hear from the mouth of any preacher. I will line it up with the Word of God in context of the chapter then the book the the Whole word of God. I am not shocked that so many preachers are preaching the MONEY gospel. It just proves to me that these so called men and women of God are not called of God but are called by themselves and men. I will continue to post on this Blog what I know the LORD as put in my heart and can prove by the Scripture in Context. So Joyce preach something else as you do not have the authority or the power of God to place any curse on anyone now will God when the truth is being given. Repent Joyce Repent. Seek the one true God not the one you are serving today He is standing at the door of you heart knocking but you will not listen and open that door. Jesus was not accepted by the Jews because they did not want a suffering Savior they wanted a KING. they wanted what you want power and wealth from a KING. they did not get it and I doubt that you will be happy in eternity with your wealth.

  22. I remember as a Catholic that we were not allow to listen to any other preacher just the priest of our church. Sounds to me like this is what Joyce Leiphon is telling everyone. Do not listen to anyone who does not preach what I preach. Dangerous
ground I would say. Read the Word of God for yourself. We as individuals have the responsibility to go to the Word of God and seek for ourselves HIS truth. The preacher is to point you in the right direction and you develop your relationship with the LORD Jesus Christ and allow The Holy Spirit to teach you all truth. so many do not do that today, they take the preachers word for it and God calls that being lazy.

  23. Read John chapter 10 with It's warnings. Are you listening to His Voice or the voice of man? Have you been to the Cross in His death for your salvation? Then do what He tells you as He makes the Word alive in you. Each believer has to follow Jesus no other way no one else can walk or live the LIFE for you.
You need to come to Jesus over everything, even what the Pastor teaches. Only Jesus is the believer's covering. And Jesus rules out of LOVE not FEAR. Ask the Holy Spirit for His help in understanding Psalm 119; 33-40.

  24. I see now that Joyce isn't preaching the money so much but getting one of her followers to do it for her. I truly believe she is greedy and just wants your money and will get it any way she can. this guy just said he got 100,000 dollars in his bank account. Did you see Joyce smiling counting how much she would be getting from this poor soul who is believing her lies.

  25. Romans 1:16-17. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith as it is written " THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH".

Are you living by Faith in Christ Jesus finished work on the cross when you follow the Money Gospel? Does your lifestyle show your trust in Jesus Christ? Has there been a change in your lifestyle since coming to Know Jesus Christ. Are you truly one of His. Jesus says my sheep knows my voice and no other will they follow. Are you truly following the voice of the LORD or are you following after man/woman?
The true Gospel of Jesus Christ sets all men free. The false Gospel that is preached by most of the church today is all about works and the you got to do. List upon list. formulas you have to work. Jesus just said come follow me. " I am the truth the life and the way".
Are you really born again or are you wanting to use the name of Jesus to get "Things" instead of Thanking HIM for taking your death sentence?

  26. I listened again to a preacher telling their followers " How to get Honor". While much of what was said is true it also has a false twist to it. Yes please pray for Wisdom Yes do ask God the Father in Jesus Name to give you Wisdom knowledge and revelation of HIS Word. IF you do this truly wanting the true Word of God and HIS Wisdom you will run from false teachers such as this one as the Word of God tells us to. Now it seems this preacher has to toot her own horn by saying she believe that the one posting on this blog will come and apologize to them and give them honor and start giving them MONEY. Let me say this "I WILL NEVER HONOR A FALSE TEACHER". "I WILL NEVER SUPPORT A FALSE GOSPEL". Jesus has given me new life and I will never throw it away for all the Wealth of the world as this preacher has done.

My name is Janice Cecil and I approve this message. You know I also truly believe that The Most Holy God also approves what is said on this blog about false teachers and the way they pervert the Truth of Jesus Christ and HIM Crucified

  27. 1 Chronicles 4:9 Just heard a preach speak about this scripture and saying that "Jabez didn't know who his father was". I cannot find that in the Word of God anywhere. Then I went to Romans 13:7 after reading the whole chapter I realized this was talking about paying what you owed to the government, that being taxes, obedience, honor. God has always had a government. Now I must ask this preacher is she is paying taxes on the cash she takes in. If she isn't she is violating the Law of God and also the Law of the Land. Yes, I know there is a certain amount of cash you do not have to claim. It is also funny she uses her daughter to say how much of an increase she has been given. How sweet as the daughter knows the preacher will give her anything she wants. I will be looking up the other scriptures this preacher used on How to get Honor and will be posting the truth of the Word of God about the ones she has used out of context

  28. To the believer and the unbeliever the problem is SIN. The answer is Jesus Christ and him Crucified. From Genesis to Revelations it is HAS GOD SAID.Eve believed the lie you will Be like God. And so self became a little g-god and man is still walking in the lie.Only in a true relationship with Jesus Christ does this change.Joyce in the LOTWC membership class teach that she has become HIM(Jesus)thus god. Also that she is Pastor, pastor prophet, teacher, evangelist, and apostle. That members have to obey her serve her. This is Word of faith teaching a false gospel, they twist the scriptures and use fear to control it's members 2nd Tim.1-7 For God has not given us a spirit of Fear etc. Old Covenant and New give warning about false teacher and false prophets and for believers to stand up for the truth. Just a few 3rd John 1-9 John stands against Diotrephes. Gal. 2-11 Paul opposed Peter face to face.Jude 1-3 tells us to contend earnestly for the Faith. From what Joyce is teaching on honor and telling her members to stop watching preachers on TV and the net, or leave I hope they are watching JSM.org, Charles Stanley reading My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers. If what you have is the truth it will stand the test, compare it will what the three that I Have listed. Since I believe that Joyce is a false teacher I pray that the members belong to Jesus Christ and He tell them to leave every last one of them. Jesus said My Sheep Know My Voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  29. This part of a letter that Joyce's Father wrote. To know the truth, you have to accept the possibility that you might be wrong. Which means that whatever brother comes along,if he can speak his point from the scripture I'll listen to him. And I won't just take a little bit and run away.I'll listen to all he has to say.And I won't keep throwing arguments at him while he's saying it,because I want to hear what he is saying. And when you want the truth that badly, that your willing to say I might have been wrong in what I believed. You'll find truth very quickly. Joyce Has spoken on Honor, but doesn't honor her father, because he told his children that would listen to him that he left the word of faith teaching and renounced it as sin. He did not believe in the money gospel. That all I will say about Him. In Jesus's Love JC

  31. If you have been raised with Christ….
What an interesting statement Paul makes at the beginning of Colossians 3. “If you have been raised with Christ……”. How can we better understand why this particular statement is used? Well a little background on this epistle might clear some things up. Paul penned this letter in response to a personal visit from Epaphras, who was the founder, pastor, servant, and minister of this church. Epaphras had come to Paul to ask for help because of a dangerous heresy that had entered the Colossian church. What was this heresy? Well, like all other heresies it was an attack on the humanity and deity of Christ Jesus.
Like all false teaching that distorts the person, work, and deity of Jesus Christ, a form of works based salvation is what usually follows and the heresy at the Colossian church was no different. Paul tells us exactly what it is:
“If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations-“Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch” (referring to things that all perish as they are used) according to human precepts and teachings?” Colossians 2:20-22

  32. False teachers desire money plain and simple. This is nothing new so we shouldn’t be surprised about it. All false Christians desire the things of this world. Do you remember Demas who left the Apostle Paul?
“For Demas, in love with this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica.” 2 Timothy 4:10
Demas loved this things of this world, he loved them so much that he deserted Paul in his time of need (while Paul was in prison) to pursue his ungodly desires. The fact that Paul was in chains and suffering, wasn’t enough to keep Demas from following the lust of his flesh. This proves that those who have emotional experiences apart from the true knowledge of Jesus Christ in repentance and faith will ultimately defect. For those who are in the flesh cannot please God, they cannot mortify the deeds of the flesh. They cannot follow Christ. The truth of where a false Christian’s heart is will eventually become known.
But thank the Lord that Paul did not stop there he also gave Timothy some words of encouragement:
“But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:11-12

  33. April 27 " My Utmost for His Highest" Oswald Chambers
Are you seeking great things for yourself? Not seeking to be a great one, but seeking great things from God for yourself. God wants you in a closer relationship to Himself then receiving His gifts. he wants you to get to know Him. A great thing is accidental, it comes and goes. God never gives us anything accidental. There is nothing easier than getting into right relationship with God except when it is not God Whom you want but only what He gives.
If you have only come the length of asking God for things you have never come to the first strand of abandonment, you have become a Christian from a standpoint of your own. "I did ask God for the Holy Spirit, but He did not give me the rest and the peace I expected". Instantly God puts His finger on the reason you are not seeking the Lord at all, you are seeking something for yourself. Jesus says " Ask and it shall be given to you". Ask God for what you want and you cannot ask if you are not asking for a right things. When you draw near to God you cease from asking for things. " Your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him". Then why ask? that you may get to know HIM.
Are you seeking great things for yourself? " O Lord baptize me with the Holy Ghost." If God does not, it is because you are not abandoned enough to Him. there is something you will not do. God always ignores the present perfections for the ultimate perfection. He is not concerned about making you blessed and happy just now; He is working out His ultimate perfection all the time " that they may be one even as We are"

  34. Good word jfcecil. To add to it look at Matt. 16: 26 " For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" Read the chapter to get context of what Jesus is saying.Jesus never compels anyone to do anything. Always if anyone wishes to come after Me etc. He came only to do the will of the Father, and went to the Cross as a willing sin offering.Have you submitted to the will of the Father? Jesus is the New Covenant, look at the book of Hebrews:1:1 not under the Prophets, like in the Old Covenant, Jesus is a better Covenant. Heb. 8
11 And they shall not teach everyone his fellow citizen, and everyone his brother, saying Know the Lord, For all shall know Me, From the least to the greatest of them. Read chapter to get context of what the Holy Spirit is saying. Be good in your Bible study to look up Greek and Hebrew to get better understanding.Never let a Bible teacher or pastor use FEAR to compel you to do something,Jesus never did,He just told the truth and each do what they wanted to do.If you are in Jesus nothing can come on you that the Father does not allow,no curse etc.

  35. In 2Tim.3;16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;17 That the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. If you will read the book of Tim. you will see the warnings that Paul gives that goes along with the whole Bible so we will not be deceived.Look at 2 Tim.4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires;4 and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths. Also as one reads the Gospel of John they can see the LOVE of the Father and of Jesus. One can only come to Jesus as the Father draws them.Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what He had John write in chapters 14,15,16,17. He if you will let Him will show you the truth in the verse, chapter, book the whole Bible in context. 36. I have been reading this blog for sometime now and I must say I have also listen to Word of Faith preachers via their website. I really wasn't confused as I believe the Word of God is inspired but the words of a man or a woman is not. So I did get on the internet and looked up all about the Word of Faith Doctrine. If you truly think you can be a member of the Word of Faith movement and truly be serving the LIVING God I really have news for you. If you do want to see things according to what the Word of God says why don't you get online and read what some ex-Word Faith teachers tell you about this false doctrine. I did and was amazed at all of the information. Now I know your preacher will tell you not to read anything on the blogs or on the internet but they do that to keep you from knowing the truth. They have to have you under their spell in order to gain all you material wealth. No what I am talking " been there done that". You cannot trust every word from man. Check it out for yourself. I did and I agree with all on this blog.

  37. Word of faith puts people into deep bondage, because they have to do it all themselves, speak it, name it, claim it. It is a lot of work to rebuke the Devil every morning when you get up.

    Some more nutshell truths:

The Bible says test the spirits, and compare everything to scripture, God is not offended in the least by testing of this kind.
Our tongues have no divine empowerment either in the positive or negative (this is a New Age occult teaching). Our tongues do have one power however:
mat 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Demonism is also way overblown in some circles, this needs a seperate teaching too - we do have authority to cast demons out of individuals, but a demon for every personality defect just doesn't wash scripturally.
God is sovereign - this one could have a whole teaching on its own too - simply put, He is the boss and we aren't. He promises to care for us however (what a relief I don't have to do it). And He definitely allows trials to come our way. He even says He allows false teachers, false prophets, and lying signs and wonders to test us to see if we love the Lord our God (deu 13:3).
God is in control - the word of faithers think it is their responsibility to enforce God's will on earth, nothing could be further from the truth. God is still omnipotent (He doesn't need our help to enforce His will), omnipresent (He doesn't need any gymnastics from us to call Him down from heaven), and omniscient (He doesn't need us to remind Him of His promises to us).
    Summary:

Prayer is petition to a sovereign God and seeking His will not ours (thy will be done...), anything else is presumption and is a stench in the nostrils of God. WoF is a spoiled demanding child vs. a good patient one, it is light vs. darkness, good vs. evil. The Word of Faith teachings seek to pervert the children of God into demanding rotten odious children fit for nothing but hellfire.
God answers prayer by grace, not by obligation, promises are not things we own, but are things we trust Him to do in His way in His time. Faith is trust in an almighty loving God, not a power imparted to us.
Word of Faith appeals to flesh and pride with its promises of spiritual power. It is self-seeking, self-gratifying, self-glorifying, and self-deifying.
True christianity is self-denying, humbling, gracious, and accepts the trials God sees fit to let us endure because it acknowledges that God is sovereign.
A final comment, as an ex-word-of-faither, when I got here I felt like the rug had been pulled out from under me, I felt lost and in shock, dazed that everything I thought was important in the Christian life was gone.

Months of follow-on study of sound doctrine however resulted in the peace of God like never before because I finally understand my rightful place in His grace. And I understand my rightful goal of developing graciousness, love, peace, kindness, and knowledge of sound doctrine. It is a much simpler and more peaceful life. I can't testify enough how fear was driven out, and peace came in, striving was replaced by peace, and fear with love, simply by studying sound doctrine. And frankly, my view of God got a lot bigger (and better) and I got a lot smaller (there is peace in that too).

Note: As I look back I now believe I was not saved when I was a WoF cult member, studying theology saved me, I give God the praise for leading me out of this stuff.

  39. I cannot believe anyone can preach the Word of Faith doctrine and still call themselves Christian. In most all the preaching I have heard from this religion is all about money. Oh yeah they mention Jesus and the cross but it appears to me they do not have any faith or trust that he has done all that was needed for salvation. " Money money money make one healthy wealthy and wise?" Is that what Jesus suffered that horrible death so those who would believe would become wealthy in this life or did He suffer that terrible death in order to save the sinner from himself as he cannot save himself and through Jesus Shed Blood be given a new life that will bring us into eternal life. Will " money" give you eternal life? Will following a man or a woman give you eternal life?. My bible tells me to place ALL my FAITH and TRUST in the one that died from me which is JESUS CHRIST. I do not believe these word of faith and money cometh preachers have a real relationship with the Blessed Savior Jesus Christ. I believe they are following and angel of Light which is the devil

  40. Just listen to a Word of Faith money cometh preacher preach on Mark 4:26. Boy I feel sorry all those who are following this person. You see when you read the whole 4th Chapter of Mark you realize that Jesus is not talking about money. Matter of fact in verse 4 of Mark's Gospel Jesus own words tell us that the Seed is the Word of God. Has nothing to do with money. I have always wondered why these money preacher never preach the Scriptures where Jesus warns about MONEY. I really like what the 4th chapter of Mark and the 11th and 12th verse says" And He said " To you it has been given to Know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside all things come in parables 12. so that Seeing they may see and not perceive And hearing they may hear and not understand;Lest they should turn and their sins be forgiven them" Yet in verse 14 Jesus clearly tells us the seed is the Word of God not "MONEY" 14 says the sower sows the Word of God>". NO where in the Book or any other book in the bible does it calls seed of any kind "MONEY". Has Money cometh stolen your name from the Lambs book of Life? Are you sure you are following the true Gospel. The only Gospel we are told to believe is the one that Paul, Peter, John and James preached and that is and was JESUS CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED. not all watchman on the wall are truly called of God but are called out their own greed and have found a way to pervert the truth into a lie just Jesus Said they would. Matthew 24:11 Then many false prophet will rise up and deceive many. Read the whole chapter

  41. If you believe Jesus Christ died for all men and HE is the only way truth and life why do you preach or ever consider that God wants everyone to be rich. I wonder if they are saying that only those who follow the Word of Faith religion are going to be saved? Those who believe as this doctrine teaches they have become a "god". Now if they have become god why do they get old and die? Why to they have to preach money when they can just command it into their hand. I do not understand how anyone can turn the True Gospel into such a money making scheme. Like the post above says why don't they ever preach on the scriptures where Jesus spoke about money. I will tell you what I think. I do not believe they can twist His saying to become proof they are to be rich. As I read the Old testament when the Israel obeyed God they were blessed, when they went about on their own ways just giving Lip service they were taken into captivity. History does repeat its self. Who do you chose to believe The Word of God which is God breathed or the twisted version of men and women? If you truly want the truth the HOLY SPIRIT will lead you to all truth and if you don't you will continue as always naming and claiming and grab and blab it all the way to destruction just like Israel.

  42. Many Word of faith teachers fit Mark 4;18 "And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word,19 and the worries of the world and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. They belong to another jesus not the true Jesus of the bible. The Jesus of Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives, and freedom to prisoners. Read the rest of the chapter For The Good News of what The True Jesus has done, it is finished at the Cross. All the got to do's to get from God are a bunch of dead works. And the money that you have to give to these money preachers is it going for the Gospel or the preachers cars, houses, etc. You are responsible to God for the money you give,if it goes to a false gospel etc. If you are a child of God ask Him He will tell you what to do,if you listen to Him and not to just the preacher.

  43. I agree with you Anonymous. Years ago I remember going to this church that claimed to be following the LORD Jesus Christ. However it didn't take long for me to realize this preacher just wanted people there to listen to him and give all their tithes and offering into their offering plate. While this preacher was living 'High off the Hog" some members in the church were being evicted from their homes, and having their utilities cut off, and also going without proper nourishment just to be able to have the Pastor pat them on the back and tell them that if they don't give up they will finally get their reward. Many went hungry, but when it came down to the children crying from hunger and not having a place to call home and these people when to the Pastor and asked for help his response was " you need to work two jobs, or you need to sell some of you personal property, or you just do not have enough faith to believe God for what you need or there is sin in your life. All the while the church is paying all the bills for the Pastor and his family. Paying for trips to Europe, South America, and extravagant vacations very spacious and nice home . I have no problem supporting a true man of God but when deep in your heart you know what the pastor is doing is not what the Word of God says,if do and you support that man or woman it is sin. Anyway after several times of being called out by this pastor for not trusting what He the pastor was teaching this man and His family left that church. He started going to the LORD and His Word and asking for the truth. After many years of suffering lack and poverty at the hands of this preacher the LORD showed Him the truth. It is not about money it is all abut a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and the finished work of Christ on the Cross. Matthew 6:33 says it all in a nutshell. The family left word of faith church, this family gives as the LORD puts it on their heart and when they give according the what the LORD has shown them to give they have not one time been overdrawn at the bank, had there utilities cut off, or gone hungry. All their needs and most of their wants have been met by the LORD. This is not an isolated case more and more people are leaving churches like the above. The problem most will not ever darken a church door again as they feel they have been betrayed by preachers using the name of Jesus as a way to gain wealth and material things. If You are one of these I ask you to go to the Word of God and cry out to the Father in Jesus Name and ask for HIS truth not any man's or woman's but His. He will show you all you have need of. I know this Matthew 6:33 is the answer. Not what is being preached in most pulpits today. The Good News is that Jesus Christ and Him Crucified is the only answer to the problem man has. The problem is called Sin and we are all guilty it doesn't matter what you call yourself. Jesus Christ paid the "sin debt" He was and IS the "sin offering" of the old testament. He is the very essence of LOVE. Jesus death on the cross was the Wrath of God that should have been on each of us instead of the sinless man Jesus Christ. read it in the Word it is there for all who believe to see.

he restores my soul: He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake (Ps. 23:3).
The beauty of the Twenty-third Psalm knows no comparison. It is called “The Shepherd’s Psalm,” and it written from the position of the sheep, who look exclusively to the Shepherd for leading and guiding. The Third Verse is particularly insightful.
At times, a sheep would stray from the “correct path.” A sheep, being a sheep, i.e., comparatively dumb, he would soon get lost and find himself in a rocky defile, unable to find his way home; consequently, the sheep would begin to bleat, and then the shepherd would come, taking his crook and lifting the sheep out from the rocky crevice where he had become pinned, and place him back safely with the flock. In fact, this might happen several times, with the shepherd always coming and retrieving the recalcitrant one.
But after a period of time, after the sheep has left the “path of righteousness” again, finding himself lost once again, despite his “bleating,” the shepherd doesn’t come. Finally, when his voice is gone, and becoming very fearful that he will be overtaken by a bear or a lion, panic sets in. Why hasn’t the shepherd come, even as he always has?
Then, with darkness settling in, the shepherd, who was there all the time, finally reaches down, and, with his crook, retrieves the wayward one. But then the shepherd does something totally different from what has previously been done. He picks up the lamb, stretches out one of its forepaws, takes his staff, and then smartly cracks the forepaw, breaking the bone. That is chastisement! Carefully, he then sets the broken leg and carries the little sheep with him, actually close to his heart, until the leg is healed.
The little one then is placed once again on the “path of righteousness.” But now, he is not so quick to desert that path. In a sense, that is the story of the Twenty-third Psalm.
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the House of the LORD forever” (Ps. 23:6).1

  46. Just listen to the pastor at light of the world church say she had just preached the gospel to those who where there. All I heard out of her mouth was twisted scriptures about "sowing seed" "money" as if that was the Gospel. I wonder how many people really believe sowing money into her ministry is "sowing into the Gospel of Jesus Christ." Yes I believe there is prosperity in the Word of God. I do not believe that when a preacher says they just preached the Gospel and it was all about money even know what the true Gospel is. Did Jesus die so some could be "rich" as this woman preaches or did Jesus Christ die to deliver us all from the power of Satan which is sin and death? I guess I am one of the roaches she is talking about. I do give to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ but never to a false teacher as this on. I would like someone to show me where in the bible "seed" is always about money. The true Word of God is the true "seed." All Blessings are yeah and amen in Christ Jesus. Yes Jesus does call us to be obedient to HIM and we can be only if you know what His Word says and it ain't money cometh to me now as this preacher claims is the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ who gave his life for all that would believe on HIM. There are a lot of scripture this woman used to prove her point. However, everyone of them were taken out of context everyone of them. Read the Word of God for your self and ask the HOLY SPIRIT to give you HIS truth. If you do that you will be free from all bondage and you will be sowing and reaping what the Word of God tells us all to sow.

SEED — a fertilized and ripened egg cell of a plant, capable of sprouting to produce a new plant. The word seed is also used figuratively in the Bible to express several important truths. It refers to human descendants or offspring (Gen. 21:12). The apostle Paul explained that the seed of Abraham not only referred to his physical descendants, “but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham” (Rom. 4:16). In Galatians 3:16, Paul went even further, stating that Abraham’s seed is Jesus Christ rather than the nation of Israel.
Jesus often used the imagery of seeds in His parables. In the 13th chapter of Matthew, He told three different parables involving seeds: the parable of the sower (Matt. 13:3–9, 18–33), the parable of the wheat and the tares (Matt. 13:24–30, 36–43), and the parable of the mustard seed (Matt. 13:31–32). He compared His own death and resurrection in a figurative sense to the sowing of seeds (John 12:24).

  48. After listening to CD's and watching on the net, the preacher of LOTWC. I have to ask the question does anyone there read the WORD OF GOD? Is anyone BORN AGAIN? As one reads Philippians 3 and the warnings that Paul gives about the false, and that He had not a righteousness of his own,but was pressing on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Verse 18 enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 who set their minds on earthly things. Look at 20-21 and see what Jesus does with true believers.Read 1 John chapters 1-5 The how each believer can have fellowship with the Father and Jesus Christ. And walk in the light, what He has done concerning sin. Also the anointing of the Holy Spirit to teach each one about all things, that one will know truth and not be deceived. And not to believe every spirit, but test the spirits. And to know the love of God, and know that you have eternal life. That is if you are His child. If not keep on following this preacher any giving her your money, your choice but according to the Word of God its not His will to fund a false gospel. Just pyramid money scheme, and the ones on the top get the money.

  49. I heard this preacher say that "money" was spoken about in the Bible more then anything else. However, she used "Seed" in every context to mean Money. Well when I read the Word of God Seed means just what is says in the Context it is written. Jesus Christ is the "Seed" of Abraham. IF you are truly one of HIS you will search out the Scripture and ask the HOLY SPIRIT to give you the wisdom, Knowledge, and Revelation of Jesus Christ..I cannot believe anyone is so stupid to believe what this preacher is teaching. I cannot find in the bible anywhere where God wants anyone to be rich in order to have everything they desire on this earth and to promote false doctrine. We do not live in a earth suit. We are not on this earth to gain wealth,or to bring the Kingdom of God into the earth. Jesus is the only one that can and will do that. If you are truly one of His you will be supporting the True Word of God not money cometh to me now preachers. Jesus died on the cross to free man from sin and death. Jesus did not die that horrible death in order to have someone like the money preacher teach that God has called a few to be rich. Jesus Christ died for all men. Not to give them wealth but to give them eternal live In HIM. We cannot live Christ's life.
we cannot live Christ life through Christ. But if we yield totally to Jesus He will live through us. Now if you want to be rich keep on believing you have the power to command god to give you what you believe for. However, do not be shocked when the Jesus comes back for the Church you and your wealth will be left behind. Your faith and trust has not been in what Jesus Christ did at the Cross. Those who are preaching this false doctrine are the blind leading the blind. To me those preachers are just like Judas the one who betray the LORD Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. Have you sold your soul for Money and a different Gospel? IS your preacher preaching the same Gospel that Paul taught? Are you reading the Word of God where Jesus says that your treasure is not of this world but of the World to come? When you where born you have nothing and when you die you cannot take anything with you. Are you prepared to face the Antichrist after the true Church that Christ instituted at Pentecost by giving your life for the LORD. Do you believe you money and wealth will keep you from being tortured for Christ sake I doubt very much you will realize the church is gone even if some of your loved ones have disappeared?

  50. WEALTH — an abundance of possessions or resources. During the times of the Patriarchs, wealth was measured largely in livestock—sheep, goats, cattle, donkeys, and camels. This was true of Abraham (Gen. 13:2), Isaac (Gen. 26:12–14), and Jacob (Gen. 30:43; 32:5). People of the ancient world also measured wealth in terms of land, houses, servants, slaves, and precious metals. The prime example is King Solomon, whose great wealth is described in 1 Kings 10:14–29.
Wealth is a major theme in the Wisdom Literature of the Bible (Prov. 10:15; 13:11; 19:4). The most important observation of these writings is that wealth comes from God (Prov. 3:9–10). The possession of wealth is not always the sign of God’s favor. “Why does the way of the wicked prosper?” (Jer. 12:1) became a familiar theme to the writers of the Old Testament. The popular view that wickedness brings poverty and goodness brings wealth is strongly opposed by the Book of Job.
The prophet Amos thundered against the rich and prosperous inhabitants of Israel, who sold “the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of sandals” (Amos 2:6). Their wealth was corrupt and under a curse because it was founded on exploitation of the poor.
In the New Testament, many warnings are given of the dangers of letting money and things possess a person’s heart. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus spoke of “treasures on earth” and “treasures in heaven” and called upon His followers to be careful of which treasure they chose (Matt. 6:19–21, 24).
Many of Jesus’ parables, such as the rich fool (Luke 12:13–21) and the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19–31), deal with people who made the wrong choice, choosing earthly wealth over heavenly wealth. But the only true and lasting wealth is the spiritual riches of God’s grace (Matt. 13:44–46).1
    Matthew 13:24-30
24 Another Parable put He forth unto them, saying (presents the second Parable), The Kingdom of Heaven is likened unto a Man (Christ) which sowed good seed (the Word of God) in his field (the world):
25 But while men slept (the Church is often asleep), His (Christ’s) enemy came (Satan) and sowed tares (apostates) among the wheat (true Christians), and went his way (Satan works mostly through professed Believers).
26 But when the blade was sprung up (refers to the good seed taking root, growing, and having a healthy start), and brought forth fruit (refers to its intended purpose), then appeared the tares also (the Church has both the true and the false).
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him (refers to those who had helped sow the “good seed”), Sir, did not you sow good seed in your field? from whence then has it tares? (No tares were sowed, so why are they there?)
28 He said unto them, An enemy has done this (refers to Satan and his ministers [II Cor. 11:13–15]). The servants said unto him, Will you then that we go and gather them up? (Rid the field of the tares?)
29 But he said, No; lest while you gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them (while the tares [false doctrine] were to be pointed out, no force was to be used to take them out of the field; to do so, would be to destroy some wheat).
30 Let both grow together until the harvest (refers to the First Resurrection of Life): and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers (refers to the Lord performing this all-important task, because only He has the Wisdom and Ability to do), Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them (the tares will be eternally lost): but gather the wheat into my barn (refers to those who will be in the First Resurrection [I Thess. 4:13–18]).2

  51. Did I hear anger in your voice in your preaching on 5/5/13? Jesus was justified in his anger when HE came against the Money changers in the temple. Now with saying that I do have to tell the Preacher at light of the world church. She is not Jesus Christ and never will become him. Now all true believer in Christ Jesus should be angered at the way this preacher perverts the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Did Jesus really go through the horrible death on the Cross so that you could be rich. I truly believe this preacher is being lead by a demon spirit called " mammon" among others. We all will be accountable to the LORD come judgement day. Our preachers will answer for all the souls that were lost because the did not preach the true Gospel which is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Not money cometh to me now. At the same judgement everyone will be held accountable for not seeking the truth of the word of God. So if your preacher is not preaching the truth you will not be excused from you ignorance. Everyone who is following Jesus Christ and HIS Word should stand up for Jesus and call a false teacher what they are. I am standing up for the truth of the Word of God against this false teacher and all who teach the same trash as this one does. If you want money by all means follow this one. They will gain all your money and just maybe if you can deceive yourself long enough you might become a preacher like this one and get rich. IS it worth spending eternity lost. I would much rather have spiritual blessing then all the money in the world. I worked for my living I didn't depend on a man or any one to have what the LORD has blessed me with. My bank account is never lacking. My bills are paid and I give where the Lord says give. I have no lack in any area of my life. Yet I do not practice what this preacher says you got to do. All I have to do is worship my LORD and Savior and Thank Him for dying in my place so I do not have to experience the Wrath of God come judgement day. Thank you Jesus for your Love, Mercy and Grace. Without you I am lost.

  52. Liberty and the Standards of Jesus
My utmost for his Highest word for May 5

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free . . . —Galatians 5:1

A spiritually-minded person will never come to you with the demand—”Believe this and that”; a spiritually-minded person will demand that you align your life with the standards of Jesus. We are not asked to believe the Bible, but to believe the One whom the Bible reveals (see John 5:39-40). We are called to present liberty for the conscience of others, not to bring them liberty for their thoughts and opinions. And if we ourselves are free with the liberty of Christ, others will be brought into that same liberty— the liberty that comes from realizing the absolute control and authority of Jesus Christ.

Always measure your life solely by the standards of Jesus. Submit yourself to His yoke, and His alone; and always be careful never to place a yoke on others that is not of Jesus Christ. It takes God a long time to get us to stop thinking that unless everyone sees things exactly as we do, they must be wrong. That is never God’s view. There is only one true liberty— the liberty of Jesus at work in our conscience enabling us to do what is right.

Don’t get impatient with others. Remember how God dealt with you— with patience and with gentleness. But never water down the truth of God. Let it have its way and never apologize for it. Jesus said, “Go . . . and make disciples. . .” (Matthew 28:19), not, “Make converts to your own thoughts and opinions.”

  53. John 15;5 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.

Gal.2:20 " I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, bur Christ lives in me; and the which I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me."

Only the Holy Spirit can make this happen in person, as their faith is only in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. I pray that every one that reads this ask that the Holy Spirit makes this real to them, and Jesus lives His life through them. Read 1 Tim.2 desires all men to be saved etc.

  54. Amen Anonymous. Just listen to light of the world church preacher. If she thought for one minute the people she is preaching to would go to the word of God and seek His face as she tells then to do she would not be telling them to do it. If you abide in the vine as stated above you will know what is true and what is false. Jesus says there will come a day when the dead branches will be cut off. That doesn't mean just Israel but those who claim to know him but are just using His name for their personal gain. There is prosperity in the Word of God but not the way this and other preachers and putting it out. Please all you who are following this preacher do as she says and seek the face of god and Ask HIM to show you the truth. I know he will do for you what he has done for many who have followed false teaching from the beginning of time. His truth will set you free from sin and death, sickness and lack. Will you be filthy rich, well some may others may not but you will be rewarded just the same. He put man in the garden to work and after the sin the work became hard so we are not promised a life filled with a bowl of Cherries on this earth. Our Treasure is not of this world but of the World to come. Will you be living in the Mansion that Jesus is preparing or will you chose your mansion and wealth in this life. I left false teaching years ago could not find a church preaching the truth. I cried out to God to give me the truth and nothing but the truth. It took a long time to get false teaching out of my heart and to be honest I am sure there are things I have not learned yet that were false. I seek the Face on the only living God and you know it breaks my heart to hear anyone pervert the Gospel of Jesus the way this preacher does. Yes religion is very dangerous as it is man twisting the word of God into an untruth and telling you all the you got to do this or that. I can't leave out you have to pay you tithes and offering to get the Gospel out to the world. Well that is the truth if the true Gospel is being preached. I would be willing to say that this preacher and her man of Gwad are laughing all the way to the bank how they have you brainwashed. Repent while there is still time and turn to the one who died for you. It was this preacher or any other it was
    JESUS CHRIST

  55. Seed time and harvest. When one plants wheat or corn there is a time to plant in the proper ground,a time for growth then a time harvest. One can expect a harvest in weeks or a few months. Never will it take years.
Now it one gives money to God were He directs then one can and will see a return. But like the wheat and the corn it will not take years for God to bless. If one is giving thousands of dollars and has not received a return, then one should seek God and see if they are giving to a false gospel. The true gospel He will always bless.Reason is the more He blesses the more one can give to fund the gospel so more people can hear the truth of how Jesus was crucified and set them free from Sin. To have a relationship with Him the Father, and Holy Spirit. Then one is truly alive

  56. You know if this wasn't so dangerous for all who are following this preacher and other preachers like her it truly would be funny. This woman and all other preachers who are preaching this money gospel and calling it the Gospel of Jesus Christ are headed for a rude awakening come judgement day. The TRUE GOSPEL is Jesus and HIM Crucified. It isn't money cometh to me now. We do not now live in the KINGDOM AGE. We are still living in the Church age. Jesus not Man will bring in the KINGDOM AGE. You can look around at how the world is looking today. The Church is following every wind and doctrine of devils and the evil one is attempting to take over the world. Time is running out for all who are believing the lie that is being preached in the main stream church. The purpose driven life like the Word of Faith and the Money cometh to me now is bringing Judgement first and foremost to the Church. I truly believe the true Church of Jesus Christ will be raptured out before it gets to the point of the Antichrist becoming known. That is before he sets His kingdom up in Jerusalem. We now only have a down payment of what is to come. All the promise of God are in Christ Jesus He is the doer of His Word. We allow Him to be the one who does the Word in our lives. Preaching Money as this preacher is doing is slapping Jesus in the face saying He didn't do enough to give you all that you need. Knowing Jesus Christ and Him crucified was enough for Paul and Peter and John and all the early church why isn't enough for you today. IS it by your works ( giving money) that you are saved or is it from the shed Blood of the Lamb of God who is Jesus Christ. Yes they all bring Jesus into their preaching but it is like he is the genie in the bottle. Profess His name and His word and you can have what ever you are believing for. There is no respect for the horrible death Jesus suffered for the remission of Sin in all who believe Him. The giving of eternal life is for those who die daily to self. Self always want to rule us. More often then not we do live out of our flesh not out of the Living Word of God.

  57. Just looked at the light of the world church website. I know about tithes but where in the bible do you find
    1. General Offering
    2 Tithes ( I know this one)
    3 Partner giving
    4 Building Fund
    5 Where most needed.
Now my question does all the money in these funds go to the pastor or who takes care of this money. Is there any accountability to any one is there some kind of paper work to show where this money goes. Before I could ever give on line even to the church who is asking for all this money I would have to see where and who get the money. Wouldn't you Since We are told to be good stewards of all the LORD give us and that includes money?

  59. I wonder if the preacher at light of the world church could preach on 1 Cor 2:1-16 and no other scripture and not ever mention wealth, health or anything but what this Scripture says. I do not believe this preacher has a clue about the NEW COVENANT. If by some chance she does then I am very concerned how she can preach a different gospel then the one in this Word of God.
